Scamers in Social Circle, GA

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been following them for some time on Facebook. I most recently lost one of my beloved dogs. I decided that I would reach out about purchasing a puppy that she had posted for some time and said they would be ready June 23, 2023. I told her I would have to get back with her and after some thought and not enough research I ended up going and getting a puppy from her husband and daughter. They were waiting outside in this 90+ degree weather that we have been having, and the husband said that Melissa Bailey was out of town with the other child, supposedly on a softball trip. I paid a lot of money for a puppy that's not a full-blooded breed. Shame on me.

Shame on Melissa and her husband for scamming people and taking their money. Ever since I got home with the puppy today he has been pooping and not solid *** but with worms, and they had given me a paper in a gift bag with a blanket they said they had rubbed on the mother with a Ziploc bag of food that they had been feeding the puppy. I did ask her what kind of food she had been feeding the puppy, but they never responded until hours later, but that time I had already purchased the food that I have always used with the plan of switching him the right way. The paper, that was most likely found online, was a copy of the proof of vaccination form they probably just printed off. It has a date of June 9, 2023, for DHPP shot and below, that it was handwritten that wormer was given at 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks. Nothing from a vet and no signature. There again, shame on me for not looking at it before I left. I cannot believe I did not do more research and realize that they previously were in another city doing this same thing. I will let everyone know what kind of people they are. Furthermore, I was hesitant about it, one because it's a lot of money to spend on a not pure breed puppy, but also when I told her that I really didnt have that whole amount she offered to come down $500, but had already posted them on another site for less money and I did not know that. When I found them and saw that he was $400 less already I wasnt really getting a deal because she already already lowered them in price. She said that when they get to a certain age they lower the price. Again shame on me for not doing more research but shame on them as well. I have never purchased a dog in my whole life, but to fill this void of the passing of my five year old great Pyrenees, which was unexpected I decided to go a different route and get one of her puppies. HUGE MISTAKE. Its not his fault but he is sick and I have an older dog that she knew about because I had told her so if he gets sick because of this sick puppy. I dont even have words right now. Please be aware and do your research unlike myself. I will know better if I ever decide to purchase a puppy again from anyone. The husband, his name I never did get, talk to me like I was stupid after I had already said that I had lived on a farm and had many outside dogs and Ive had three inside dogs of my own for several years and they have all been well taken care of. I make sure that they are Up-to-date on everything. Funny thing is all the messaging that we did she did say that the puppy comes with a one year health guarantee. Well, I can guarantee you that he is already sick and its only been less than 24 hours. Im so disappointed that I put trust into someone that I thought was being honest. I am going to post this same post everywhere that I can to let as many people know what kind of people Melissa and her family really are.

I know that in life people are going to be dishonest, but when it comes to some thing like this, where youre spending a lot of money that youve worked really hard for especially on an animal that you thought was going to be in better shape. I can feel his little ribs when I hold him. When I got there to pick him up, you could tell that he obviously has been outside. Thats not an issue but if you are a registered breeder and you have someone coming to purchase a puppy from you, I would think you would at least give that puppy a bath and possibly trim their nails but I guess thats the difference between a good breeder and a scam artist. He was filthy, and when we got here, I had to give him a bath, and he drank so much water that I am questioning if they even had given him any the whole day. I will be immediately taking him to the vet and having him thoroughly checked. From the other reviews that I have found in red apparently this is been going on for some time and Melissa has even been taken to court, but unfortunately, for the people that spent more money than I did, the outcome did not go in their favor. This sweet little boy does not deserve to be sick and they do not need to tell lies to people to get them to purchase their puppies because they are scam artist. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BAILEYS FARM DOODLES AND BULLIES!!!

I truly hope that this will help the next person that is thinking about purchasing from her because I shouldve done better research . They are liars and scammers and will take you for your money and give you a sick puppy. Pretty sure thats why they continuously have so many that they cant get rid of.

defendant/Melissa Bailey (puppy mill "bailey's farm doodles & bullies) is accusing our deceased puppy's medical issues on his one-time heart worm treatment "simpatico trio" rather than overbreeding = genetic maladies. we have attained an attorney and have a window of 6 months until the statue of limitations ends to collect data to prove our case. buyers beware!

Original review updated Feb 17, 2022
WE PURCHASED A $4,500 ENGLISH BULLDOG FROM BREEDER MELISSA BAILEY (BAILEY'S FARM DOODLES AND BULLIES) IN FAYETTEVILLE, GEORGIA. AFTER DRIVING 6 HR'S TO PICK UP OUR LITTLE GUY, BREEDER WAS AWOL.

HER SPOUSE WOULD NOT LET US LOOK AT THE SIRE OR DAM OR EVEN ENTER THE HOUSE. 2 DAYS LATER OUR "DUKE" BECAME TERMINALLY ILL. HIS $5000 MRI WAS REVEALED THE WORST. THE VETERINARIAN AND NEUROLOGIST SAID "THIS IS A VERY SICK PUPPY ALL A RESULT OF GENETIC OVER BREEDING." DUKE HAD SEIZURES, HEAD & BODY TREMORS, CHERRY EYES NECESSITATING 2 SURGERIES, A LEFT DEEP INNER EAR INFECTION REQUIRING FLUSHING, CONTINUAL PNEUMONIA WHERE HE ALWAYS STRUGGLED TO BREATHE.

AT JUST 4 MONTHS, ALL THE SPECIALISTS SAID HE SHOULD BE HUMANELY EUTHANIZED. WE ARE TRAUMATIZED AND STILL GRIEVING. AND WHAT WAS THIS PUPPY MILL BREEDER'S RESPONSE? "GO *** YOURSELVES"!

SO MANY OTHER CLIENTS HAVE ALSO BEEN CHEATED AND ARE TAKING MS. BAILEY TO COURT FOR FALSE ADVERTISING ON FACEBOOK.

BUYER BEWARE! NOW WE TOO ARE HEADED TO COURT.
