If I could have given no stars I would have. Note I live in Knoxville, TN and was given a referral to a mechanic in Marietta that could do a Pre Purchase Inspection (PPI) for on this vehicle as I don't live in the state of GA. (also B Auto Help's phone number has never worked 404-914-**** Bill was calling and texting me via a cell number 803-991-****). I spoke with the owner Bill on 4-28-20 the first time. I was asking about a car 2001 BMW 128i he had for sale on his car lot. I told him I lived in Tn and that I wanted to get a PPI done on the car. (which everyone should on a used vehicle. He asked me where I told him and he said that was too far no. I said ok and left it at that. On 4-29-20 my husband pointed out that it was only 15 minutes and 6 miles from B Auto Help to the mechanics place for the PPI. That maybe I should call Bill back at B Auto Help and explain maybe he didn't realize how close this mechanic truly was. So I did. Bill agreed to take the car to the mechanic for the inspection and wanted an appointment for first thing in the morning. I called the mechanic who were more than willing to accommodate. The mechanic said they could do the inspection on 4-30-20 at 9am but that Bill could not wait inside because of the COVID19 pandemic. He could wait outside or leave the car for the inspection and they would call him when it was ready. The PPI take anywhere from 2-3 hours. I called Bill back and told him all of this and he said that was fine and he would have the car at the mechanic at 9am. On 4-30-20 I get a call from the mechanic's shop saying the car was here and they explained to Bill he can't wait inside. That they were ready to drive into the building to start the inspection. I get a call right back from the mechanics shop and told me Bill refused the inspection and is leaving as we speak. The mechanic shop then offered Bill a courtesy car all they needed was his drivers license and insurance card. He refused and left. The mechanic shop called me back to tell he was leaving and refused the inspection. As I was talking with the mechanics shop Bill was trying to call me. Texted me a picture of the car outside the mechanics shop. The when I couldn't answer the call from Bill because I was talking to the mechanics shop, he began texting me. Contradicting everything the mechanics shop said. I returned his call and he said they wanted him to leave the car for 4-5 hours for the PPI and he said he couldn't. I told him that's not true it is 2-3 hours and we agreed on this yesterday and he did not keep his word. Plus he was even offered a courtesy car and he refused. He said he didn't have his insurance card. (Which makes no sense when he was driving a car already to the mechanics shop). I said I have nothing more to say and hung up. Bill then began to text me over and over saying the following: "Ms. Cindy I did what do u ask me to do. What over they tell u is not true. Also PPI Is not tasing 4 hours. Max talk one hour. I take my word to help you out and I did. Anyway Let me if I can help. Have blessing day." I replied back "I doubt that. You knew you had to leave the car and you wouldn't leave it I told you 2-3 hours for the inspection they did not tell you 4-5- hours. They called me right away as you were leaving. They also offered you a courtesy car you refused. This is bad business to lie to people. They have nothing to gain but my money. So you must have something to hide. No Max 3 hours. Never." Bill: "So u didn't believe me and u believe it him What he told you." Me: "Yes I know them." Bill: "That's fine" Me: "They have nothing to gain to lie to me." Bill: "Me too If I hide something I will never wake up and leave my 3 kids and go there. As single father Is not easy to wait 4 hours." Me: "No sympathy here You failed to do what we agreed on plain and simple It's all on you." Bill: "To see when they are going to finished the inspection." Me: "It's not four hours and you didn't have to They were GIVING you a courtesy car." Bill: "That's what you think, I respect that Again, they are not The owner come outside, start saying that I'm busy today and by myself Also they did not give me the courtesy car, they asking me copy of insurance. So I didn't have it with me. Anyway no dealership will let they car go for 4 hours. They will never do that," Me: "So you would let someone drive off in one of your cars without getting a drivers license and insurance proof. It was costing you nothing. Stop harassing me." This man has something to hide. The first clue should have been that the phone number on the website didn't work. I have to do a written inquiry two separate times to get phone calls back. Bill did not own up to our agreement to take the car for the PPI. He showed up and then promptly refused. and drove away. He has cause me nothing but issues. I should have stopped when his number didn't even work but wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he was having phon issues, which I put in the first inquiry. He was very rude and would try to talk over me. Any person knows that if you want to be sure that a car is in good working order you have a PPI performed. Which is another thing on the sec and phone call, Bill tried to tell me they are going to tell me there are things wrong with the car cause that's what I'm paying them to do. I promptly told him no that's not what they are for. They are letting the customer know what is wrong with the car if anything and what it will take to have the car in good running order. My personal option o this dealership and Bill is that he is up to something nothing added up. I had cash money which he knew to buy the car. So either he is hiding something or there is more to the story. Which I noticed he has a c- with the Better Business Bureau. Be wary of this man and his dealership.
