Scam of a company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • AZURA Leasing was the lease provider and not disclosed.
  • I signed on a small phone screen; equipment unused for 3 years; $70.50 is taken monthly.

The Vine Payments sales representative never disclosed that the credit card terminal lease was through a separate third-party company (AZURA Leasing). I was not given a lease to review or sign separately, nor was I told the lease would be non-cancelable.

I just signed and initialled his small phone screen. We haven't used the equipment for 3 years, but every month,$70.50 is taken from our account.

  • Forced to sign a lease for unused equipment.
  • Promises were not delivered; 4 years' payment and no returns are demanded.

Forced to sign lease even though I didnt need equipment. Found out parter company couldnt not deliver on promises and azura has no consideration even after paying for unused equipment for over a year.

Will not allow return of unused equipment and wants payment for all 4 years even though company misrepresented what they can do.

Was told they could take payments directly through Quickbooks online email payments. NEVER SIGN WITH THIS BUSINESS!

SCAM ALERT: Chellecomm, Impact Merchant Group, The Adara Group, and Azura Leasing

AI Highlights
  • Cold calls claim over-billing or PCI fees and request a 'free audit' of your statement.
  • They follow up with better rates or a wholesale/cash-discount plan.
  • Azura Leasing enforces a 45-year non-cancellable lease with inflated prices; Chellecomm/Impact/Adara take kickbacks.

As someone who worked directly for Ms. Malone the mastermind behind Chellecomm, Impact Merchant Group, and The Adara Group I witnessed how these companies partner with Azura Leasing to scam business owners under the guise of "helping."

Heres the playbook:

The Bait: A statements rep cold-calls your business, claiming theyve found over-billing or PCI compliance fees.

Youre asked for a merchant statement for a "free audit." that you email to statements@***.com, fax, or text to a "secure line" that is an old iPhone.

The Switch: A sales rep calls back weeks/months later, refreshes your memory, and pitches slightly better rates, wholesale or cash discount program just enough to earn your trust.

The Trap: Once you agree, the merchant account is set up and the equipment is leased through Azura Leasing, locking you into a 45 year non-cancellable lease at wildly inflated prices. The calls are recorded and sent to Azura to back the deal.

The Kickback: Chellecomm, Impact Merchant Group, and The Adara Group receive a cut of the lease revenue so theyre incentivized to upsell unnecessary or overpriced hardware.

If you try to cancel, you're hit with massive termination fees and legal threats from Brian Clark, their attorney. Ive seen it firsthand pressure tactics, confusing terms, and aggressive follow-up that traps unsuspecting business owners in costly, long-term commitments.

The reality? These companies dont exist to help they exist to extract.

Your merchant statement becomes a weapon to sell you something you dont need and can't escape.

Read the fine print. Dont send your statement to anyone you dont trust. And whatever you do avoid Chellecomm, Impact Merchant Group, The Adara Group, and Azura Leasing.

I worked there.

I know how it works. And Im speaking out so it doesnt happen to you.

If there was a zero, I would give it as a score!

AI Highlights
  • Unhappy with the company and poor phone support.
  • Returning equipment costs 1,496.42.
  • Will not do business again; may seek legal advice.

I am nearing retirement and I remember asking when i signed up, if I could return the equipment if I decided to close. I have not been happy with this company and when I called to return it, I was told I could but I would have to pay 1,496.42 to do it.

There is no reason for this since many other credit card processors give you the equipment. I did not realize until this call that they are not even handling the processing.

That is a ridiculous amount of money and the staff on the phone was not helpful at all! I will never do business with this company when I am finished paying or I seek legal advice.

User's recommendation: Stay away from Azura Leasing!!

They are running the same scam that they ran in New York under the name of northern leasing. The New York state’s attorney shut ten down and they are not supposed to be able to run a scam like this again.

Look up Richard Hahn under northern leasing. State sending data to Michigan and New Yorks states attorney it’s the only way to shut them down

I just lost over $3000 with them to cancel the lease I didn't know I signed up for

  • Rep promised Azura would be more efficient, quicker, and cheaper with Clover than Intuit, but system won't work and they won't assist, risking $4k.

Talked into using Azura by a merchant services representative promising that it would be more efficient, quicker and cheaper to use with Clover, than what we had with Intuit. Unfortunately, we cannot use the system they provided, and they refuse to assist us.

Had we KNOWN it would not work as PROMISED, we would not have agreed to use them. They refuse to acknowledge that deceptive business practices are in play here.

You cannot provide a product that does not work with the buyer's system, and then ignore the requests for assistance. We will be out over $4000 at the end of this.

User's recommendation: READ the fine print. Do not sign anything without trying it first, if possible.

Hi there,

I am having the same situation. I am in california.

I am suing them in small claim, but it is not work, so I think I have to take them to big court. Can you tell me what this you do to win the case.

I am trying to help a friend. Their lease says MBF Leasing, confirmation of lease from First Data, within the lease documents "non-calcelable , et.

shows Azura, signed by Transmerit Merchant Services out of Los Angeles, Ca. Monthly payment of $77.00 for 48 months. The lease was not signed by owner, but owners wife. I know they did not understand this lease at all.

Asian people are very careful with their money and would never agree to this. Can you offer any help.

Guest

i am interested in talking to you call me at 909-287-**** TODD

Guest

I believe they are a shell company for MBF Leasing. I signed a lease with Azura Leasing and had it "sold" to MBF Leasing.

If I would have known I would end up with MBF then I could have googled them to see their deceptive trade practices. Now, from what I see, Azura is a clean name they are using with A BBB rating, to continue the scams for MBF.

I am intrested in talking with you. Please call me Spencer at 480-227-****
