Gemologist findings:

 He is a registered jeweler with the American Gem Society, member of the prestigious American Gem Society (AGS), who adheres to that organization’s high standards for knowledge, professionalism and integrity. He is also a member of the following organizations:  Gemological Institute of America (GIA)  National Association of Jewelry Appraisers  Jewelers of America  Jewelers Security Alliance  Texas Jewelers Association

He examined the ring under a microscope, confirmed that it was not coral, that it showed none of the uneven features of coral which is a skeleton of a once living creature.

In addition, he pierced the setting with a needle. The material was soft enough to be easily penetrated, a condition that would not be there were the stone actually coral.

I also examined this piece as well as all my other coral pieces under lighted magnification and confirmed that this piece is not coral. It is an even glossy color and structure. There are no striations, rings, pores, uneven surfaces, occlusions, signs of growth structure or patterns of any kind in this stone.

Nor are they found in plastic. The best tools are a microscope and good lighting. … Examination under a good microscope and with back lighting should reveal some signs of coral growth structure if it is coral. Other likely alternatives are plastic or glass … The only certain way to sort out corallium rubrum is to know its structure and look for it under magnification with a good light.

Poorly Made,Returned item,Had to File case to get my $  “this is not native american made. this is a fake!”  “Not all were carved from Gemstones / Stone or Authentic”  “You are using the exact same FITISH on your bracelets THAT you got fromme,REALLY”  “WORST EXPERIENCE EVER,VINDICTIVE SELLERS,I WONT BE BACK”  “these are *** plastic and damaged and won't give refund I sent them back” The item does remain in my possession, unworn so certainly not compromised hygienically.

I contacted the seller prior to her mailing the item to me requesting cancellation of the sale. The seller refused. I contacted her again upon receipt of the item requesting return/refund. The seller refused.

I contacted the seller after consult with one jeweler and prior to consult with the second. I will be happy to return the item. I don't want it and would not wear it. Ebay representatives advised me to contact my credit card after they denied a refund.

I have seen no documentation of a refund from PayPal or my credit card. I did receive a "courtesy" refund from Ebay after contacting Ebay's CEO.

Going forward please consider contacting the seller directly prior to attempting to tarnish their reputation. Its just simply bad karma.

We are SMALL ARTISTS! This means, every dollar we have, goes into our work. Hours after hours of creating something we hope someone will love.... literally blood, sweat, tears, dreams, dollars and everything else in life goes into every single piece of jewelry we create..

even the pieces we don't create because we buy those from.. guess who... small artists who need us to support them!

I would LOVE to see the "Certified Gemologist" report and ertifiec stamped finding... the item you purchased is 100% coral!

Im concerned because not only do you STILL have our product, but you also filed a dispute with your credit card company AFTER you received full credit from eBay (oh yeah, I have the proof) so let's recap... you have a Genuine Coral Ring, credit from your credit card company and then yet ANOTHER credit from eBay! So who's the "scammer" here? I urge you to email me so we can get this rectified asap.

Before we file a lawsuit against the original author of the report for defamation, business disparagement, false light, or any other claim that is legally appropriate.

Truth is, you going out of your way to damage businesses and small artists such as myself will not be tolerated!

You have received multiple credits... why do this?

We also have over 5000 items sold with only 3 negative comments. 1 being this person and the other 2 are from the same person with duplicate eBay accounts who is currently under investigation for breaking eBay's policies and having duplicate accounts.

We are artists who create and sell unique hand crafted items. We absolutely stand by our items 100% we describe the materials used to 100% accuracy.

We do not offer any returns or exchanges for sanitation reasons as previously sold items can not be re-sold to another person. The consumer who listed this complaint originally contacted us saying she "didn't like" the Ring and wanted a refund. We stated our policies that it can't be resold now that you have worn it. She then contacted us saying "the coral was fake" which it is not!

It was purchased by us from a Native American Silversmith Artist who is very well known and does amazing work. The artist has done very reputable work for us and many other artist for years. eBay ended up providing this customer a "coupon credit" for a ONE TIME "buyers remorse" which eBay credited her not us. So the customer has our item and her money back.

Normally we handle all customer issues in house and never have issues. Unfortunately, this customer just didn't like her item and because we are so small of a business we can't re-sell returned items..

its unsanitary and bad karma to pass someone else's energy onto a new buyer.
