Do not follow Axon receptionist's advice.

Even if she sounds very confident with her advices they are all what you can not do. 1) Remove the box spring and materess immediately from the room once you realize you have an infestation. NO, Do not move anything. Wait until an extreminator comes with their heat gear and proceed the treatment. It is better the bugs stays concentrated in the bed until the heat treatment is being proceed. If you move something you risk to drop 1 bug in another room of your house when you carry the bed outside. I think Axon wants to sell you an entire home treatment instead of 1 room. 2) The canine detector Even if you have an appointment they do not show up without notice. 3) 1 room heat treatment is 1800$ garantee 45 days but competitors' price is 1200$ with 90 days garantee. 4) Canine detector is 600$ but competitors is 300$.They are well equiped to rip you off with their speech. DO NOT HIRE AXON.

Ineffective bed bug treatment; worst service.

Cest un cauchemar avoir des punaises de lit! Faire affaire avec Axon rend lexpérience infernale! Traitements non efficaces (punaises de lit toujours présentes après 3 traitements thermals!). Protocoles inadéquates (ré-inspection canine se fait trop tôt après chaque traitement thermal -ça peut prendre jusquà 2semaines pour léclosion des œufs -le chien nest pas en mesure de détecter les œufs). Personnel non qualifié. (Manque de consistence dans leur façon de procéder dun technicien à lautre ou dun inspecteur canin à lautre. Ne vous fiez pas à leurs ré-inspections canines; ils se trompent!) Mauvaises communications (De plus, aucun contrat, aucune documentation écrite n'est fourni). Service après vente exécrable. Aucune discrétion. The director of operations, Richard Simard, can be charming and patient before signing the contract but after obtaining the contract, he is a condescending bully with a huge ego whose behaviour is beyond inappropriate and unprofessional. Dealing with him turns an already nightmare situation into a hellish one.

The Axon director of services, Richard Simard, is someone to avoid at any cost. He'll be nice until you have to ask questions on their procedures and challenge him. He'll then turn into an aggressive individual and we were told by closed sources that he's been aggressive to the point of even being physical with some clients... Their extermination process is also questionable on many fronts.

I had the heat treatment done with Axon, and it cost me 7k$$$$ Bugs are back and they swear by a re-introduction. B*LLSH*T! I am looking to file a collective lawsuit with anyone else who was scammed by this company. As a single mother of 2, I had to remortgage my house to get this treatment done, as they said it was the most effective. This is extortion and taking advantage of vulnerable people who are willing to do anything to get rid of the problem. I am at a loss, monetary, and physically. I just found more bugs (for the second time since the treatment), had to throw out my new bed and am now sleeping with my children in hope that the problem has not yet spread to their room. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS I am presently dealing with the BBB and urge anyone else who has had a bad experience to do the same.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this, Claris. I’ve also recently had a horrendous experience in dealing with Axon.

Bed bugs are still present after 3 thermal treatments! Axon’s protocols and methods are inconsistent from one inspector to another and from one technician to another. K9 re-inspections are done too early after thermal treatments (it can take up to 2weeks before eggs hatch and dog is not able to detect eggs). Their employees have neither the experience or expertise.

The director of operations, Richard Simard, is charming until contract is signed. After it’s signed, he is unprofessional, ruse and his behaviour is beyond appropriate. Also, he seems to be giving jobs to members of his family (son: Guillaume; niece: Stéphanie Letarte) despite they being unqualified for the job.

Useless Inspection

AVOID this company and their owner at all costs. They came did an absolutely useless inspection in which they said there was nothing - even though we'd all sustained numerous bites for weeks. 2 days after their "inspection" we ourselves found 3 bed bugs. The company is unwilling to make restitution of any kind and is extremely unprofessional. The "owner" resorts to screaming on the phone and hanging up on me. This can't be the way a respectable reputable company operates. I would not recommend them to even my worst enemy. Complete waste of time and money. STAY AWAY from these *** artists!!

As one of the owners of Axon Extermination I am very surprised to read this. We are more than happy and willing to remedy any customer complaints and or issues that may occur, and certainly do not scream at clients.

Axon takes customers problems and issues very seriously and understands first hand the importance of a thorough bed bug inspection. For that reason, Axon has implemented the most efficient detection program available on the market. Our certified and trained dog handler works with our K9 unit to uncover bed bugs in the hardest to reach places. When the dogs detect bed bugs, our handler confirms with a visual inspection that bed bugs are indeed present.

In a situation where multiple family members are suffering from bites, it would be even more critical to uncover the source so that we could eradicate the infestation. Axon prides itself in working hand in hand with its customers to get rid of any intrusive pest and while service issues can arise, we deal with them respectfully and in a timely manner so that our clients can regain peace of mind.

Ripped off by Axon Exterminator in Montreal

I hired this company for a bed bug issue, they were very sloppy and they did not do the heat treatment properly, they came twice and I still had bed bugs, I asked for a full refund, they refused, I ask for them to come back and do the job right they refused and would not honor their warranty The guy who runs it Steeve is a piece of ***, he is nice before he gets your money then after he is a total aggressive *** on the phone. I know for a fact reading forums and talking to other exterminators that this outfit has ripped many people off. Be warned
