Terrible Build - Website Outsourced To India - No Refund

AI Highlights
  • The site didn't scale and had unlicensed software and grammar errors.
  • It cost $1,200 and wasted time.
  • Warn others to avoid AWD website design.

Before undertaking they showed us sites that would be indicative of our build. What we received was a site that did not scale properly - the software used was not licensed (so we found out) and so many grammatical errors - not understanding what was conveyed.

Big waste of $1,200 and lots of our time assembling the content. Thought the price was too good to be true.

Sure we paid more for a pro company to build it but the difference in price was made up within a few months - then from then on even more profit. I would warn everyone to stay away from AWD website design.

Bad Experience with AWD Website Design www.awd.com.au

AI Highlights
  • AWD used an outdated platform with limited service.
  • Mobile upgrade billed as a rebuild with higher fees.
  • Email spam; upgrade not delivered.

awd.com.au built my business website on a rudimentary and outdated platform. They provided very limited service and ongoing support. When I recently requested updating to a mobile friendly and more user friendly platform they wanted to charge me for a rebuild.

This was at the same time as increasing my fees and justified it as "The Lounge" whatever that means. It did not mean improved service in my case. My business email that they provided is constantly inundated with spam.

This was also supposed to be upgraded but evidently has not happened judging by the disgusting spam I receive. I could not be less happy with their service and would warn others to look elsewhere.I don't often write reviews but I feel I really need to warn other consumers out there about this business AWD web design.
