Complaint with having multiple classes without a teacher.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have 2 classes left and there are no teachers to teach classes. I've been forced to take a Leave of absence because of not having teachers.

There are some good teacher that do care but with the lack of functioning aircraft we can even do half of our hands on projects. I was one of the lucky ones and had a great teacher for powerplant but there are students here that haven't even been into the hanger to do any work hands on. I can only talk about the Irving TX location because that is where I am but after the change of the head guy over he from Mr Kris to Mr Ray it's been a disfunctional group. Teachers not showing up and when they do they are unprepared.

It's gone downhill.

If you want your A&P from this school you will have to learn everything by yourself. Don't expect a lot of help from staff.

This school you do not want to go to ,big turnover with teachers ,they charge you for classes you did not go to and the top thing is how discrimating MR MOORE is ,I cant believe what this guy was doing to the students ,the biggest mistake is to send your kid there and deal with Mr Moore abuse ,and I am taking legal action ,I am not letting the school get away with this and if you ran into the same promblem i take legal action to ,talk to school and corporate office and they are covering this up and the only thing they are worried about is getting your kid back in school and take your money ,if you want to get discriminated, turn over of teachers there old equipment and charged for classes you did not go to this is the school for you, stay away

School cares only about money. Took my student loan for housing and applied it to my tuition without my permission.

I am a united states veteran granted 100% tuition coverage due to my disability. This school knows they will receive the complete 100% tuition in multiple batches via payment from the Veterans Administration.

The whole reason for me to take out a student loan was to be able to fully focus on my education and study after school without having to balance a full time job. this is how I am able to maintain almost a 4.0 GPA. (some of these topics are really hard) I did not need a student loan for tuition, it is paid for and they know that.

My student loan was issued, then the school directly applied it to my tuition balance, the one that they know is going to be paid by the VA, and told me I will not be able to access MY MONEY (I CANT STRESS THAT ENOUGH!!!!!!!) until the VA makes enough payments to create, and I quote, "a positive balance on my account", then I will be able to access MY MONEY intended for food, rent, utilities, insurance, GASOLINE TO MAKE IT TO SCHOOL.....! Oh and have to wait up to 2 weeks for them to mail a paper check.. (where do they send it from, the *** moon!?!)

the whole reason for taking out the student loan was to be able to use it while in school to support myself, not have this school decide they want their tuition now and confiscate my loan I was going to use to live, knowing that they would have been paid what was rightfully theirs if the impatient *** would have just waited for what was already coming to them.

My student loan that was intended for me to survive while I was in school should have never been applied to my tuition. (and they know what I was going to use it for when I applied for the loan, I told them when I applied. only a hand full of people deal with the finances. They KNEW I was 100% covered tuition wise, they have paperwork from the VA verifying this!)

I am not just *** because someone made me mad. I have been down to the financial aid office multiple times to tell them of the bind they put me in, and to see what can be done to help fix the issue and all they have told me was "its corporate policy" or some *** and I would just have to wait, there is "nothing we can do". They should have never applied it to my tuition in the first place..

Long story short; do not come to the Aviation Institute of Maintenance located at 7251 West McCarty Street

Indianapolis, IN 46241. The instructors are great, its the admin that has no clue what they are doing. If you are interested in aviation maintenance in the Indianapolis area, do your research and find a different school.

The ONLY reason I still put up with this school is because I am already well into the course, and would have to start almost over/waste my G.I. Bill to change schools.

If anybody say that they got a high paying job doing that *** these days is a damb lie. If a commercial plane need engine fixing, it's getting sent back or broken down for scraps. Heavy engineering these days is pretty much dead!

Yes, I went to that school. It sucks.

The housing cost about 416.00 a month for each student in a town house apartment. That's 416.00 x 4. That's how much the school make off one apartment that's really only 416.00 a month. They don't allow the students to spit the rent.

That's is why it has such a high drop out rate.

No body there got a job but one guy that everybody supposed to know named Ray, but they don't really know him. If you read this and have questions about that school call me @309-200-**** ask for Lance!

We have the same problem down here at the Fl location, brother. Administration here doesn't care, director is an ***, but the instructors are mostly down to earth. If hadnt invested so much time already I would have left this place

I completly agree with this post. It is very similar as what happened to me.

Except i was told if i didnt take any loans out the school would cover the gap. From what va paid to what was owed. Keep in mind va pays at 100% so why did they keep my pell grants totalling almost 5600 dollars? Good guestion that they can not answer.

Oh also good luck getting a 1098t for your taxes. They bill you in a way so they dont have to give it to you..

I looked up on Irs website.. Rip off

All of these schools do the same thing rip people off, someone needs to close them down, it is nothing but a money grab and that is all. You will leave with $40,000 in debt and make $10.00 an hour after that!!!!!

Guest

They have been doing this for years, being a military veteran they *** me too. They go after military because they are EASY MONEY!!

Some of the schools are closing. They are a total ripoff!!!!
