The web links on both the website and phone application is not working. More than one web link is broken.
Also, I kept getting an error that stated " an untangled error has occurred".
So basically, you have to call customer service right now to make any changes or see a cancellation or make reservations. While I have really preferred this airline for a number of reasons, I'm disappointed that this has been going on for about 2 weeks now.
I did call customer service and let them know that there were these problems and even have screenshot, but customer service denied any issues and said they didn't have these issues on their end?

After I paid for a flight from New Haven to Myrtle Beach, including the extra charge to buy a seat, the total round trip cost was $174. Then, they sent an email that there is a charge for a carry on which wasnt communicated online when I booked the reservation.
Avelo is charging me $60 per trip-an additional $120 for the carry on. A checked bag in todays market today is about $25 -$35.
Avelo is not even handling the bag and is charging an additional 70% increase to my cost. Watch out for the thieves at Avelo Air!

Taking customer's money on luggage that fits their requirements
Avelo has their personal item luggage requirements listed on their website. I pack my bag according to their requirements and they have made my pay $65 or will not allow me to board the flight for the last three flights I have been on (all within the last 4 months).
I have received my $65 back once. This is a scam. They are probably makes hundreds of thousands of dollars by randomly deciding who they will make pay.
I am contacting the attorney general for the State of New York. Pic below of my backpack that was "safely stowed" but they charged me for.

My flight couldn't land in the city I paid to go to, so it rerouted us and we had to get hotels. The staff promised that all hotels would be reimbursed and to hold onto receipts.
When I went to get reimbursed through customer service (in person), they said I had to call. When I called, they told me they didn't do reimbursement. After emailing them back and forth for a week, they agreed and asked for my Venmo.
6 weeks later and after calling every day, I have no reimbursement.The company has made every excuse in the books saying accounting isn't in, they won't let me talk to a manager, you name it. I would never consider flying with them again until my reimbursement that they already agreed to pay is processed.

Traveling on Dec 24, my bag failed to make the flight. I asked for it to be overnighted to me and was refused.
I spent more than $1000 on clothes for 5 days, cosmetics all sorts of things. It was Christmas!
I only had the clothes on my back. And I had to waste Christmas Eve shopping! They offered to get me my bag IN FIVE DAYS. IT WOULD HAVE COME ON MY RETUR FLIGHT.
They offered me $150!
Overnighting my bag wouldn't have cost any more and they would have a customer for life. Now, they have an angry critic.

Yes, I am requesting information on the airlines perks for Veterans as nothing addresses it on the website.
Nobody called me
I literally sat on the phone for two hours and then pressed one for a call back because this was the 5th time I tried and then got a text message saying thanks for the call. No one called me. Customer service is horrible
Distraught Passengers
I would never fly Avelo again, especially as a family. Your total total cost rack to between $500 and $600 in our experience.
It was the worst flight coming and going to our destination. A family of three with an infant was bumped from the plane, although the checkinprocess was done and boarding passes available on the phone. Had to get a hotel until the next flight in the morning. the car seat was lost, returning the next day.
Just wonder how many times it was shuffled around in the safety of the car seat now. One flight we sat on the tarmac for four hours, Avelo announcement was they were waiting for the fuel truck. There was no air. The doors were not open and only at one point while waiting, they offered a 4 ounce bottle of water.
The delays are numerous every time we flew on Avelo. The staff and customer service are rude and not accommodating. After complaints to customer service for delayed and bumped fro a flight, we were offered $250.
In travel vouchers which will never be used by us. We will never fly Avelo again, it's a 12+ hour waste of time for a 3 hour flight!

i booked a flight from FL to NY as my son was dying, and I had hoped to fly there before his passing. He passed away three hours after I booked the flight.
I cancelled as soon as possible. I called customer service to have the $448.00 removed from my account but was told that I cannot get refunded, that I would have to take a ticket credit. Why would I take a ticket credit if I have no plans to fly to the destination.
I am an old senior who has no need to travel and live on a fixed income.
I flew Avelo last month and was very satisfied, but now that he is gone I have no need to travel. Please help.

Flight cancellation
I prepared to take my daughter and two friends to Orlando Florida for a birthday trip. We had a a trip booked at Universal for 3 days.
The girls were extremely excited for months and then the day came. It was time to go and enjoy my daughters birthday. The plane arrived , and there was a delay , which was okay. Then , via text message the flight was cancelled after 5 hours of sitting at the airport.
The entire trip was cx just like that as we live far from universal. Watching 3 girls cry was just hard all bc your airline cx a flight out of the blue after a 5 hour wait. Its hard to support an airline that offers no backup solutions , but just sends people home quickly .
Customer service matters. This is a terrible start for a new airline company.

Canceled flight
I bought tickets to see my dad in ohio with my son. From Sept 22 to October 8.
They just refunded my money and said sorry.
This sucks cause I had to buy more expensive tickets cause if them. They do not care about the people going to ohio.

And the lady behind the counter was taking her sweet *** time.
400$ wasted.. then 350 for a new ticket to Sarasota but on my bank statement says 540$ I want a refund for the 400$ n the 200$ from my 2nd ticket or I will take legal action
