Poor product poorer customer support
- - Shipped promptly and looked great after installation.
- - After 1.5 years, rear window came loose and fell out; warranty claimed but not fulfilled.
Ordered a top for my Toyota, it shipped promptly and looked great after the installation. Then, after a year and a half, the rear window came loose and began to fall out.
I contacted them and sent pictures of the top and they said it was covered under warranty and would ship in about 2 weeks. It has now been 3 months and there have been many phone calls and emails sent, but not a single reply. Buying the product, not an issue. Getting service, or even a returned phone call, for get it.
I wish I could recommend them, because like I said, the top looked great, but it fell apart and the company will not stand behind it, nor return any message. Don't buy from them.

I ordered a soft top roof and windows for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler JK. They sent the wrong size.
The rear window was almost 10 inches shorter than my stock. Sent pics, spoke to someone named Nestor. I didnt want a refund, just a correct replacement. Weeksmonths passed after numerous calls and emails.
Nothing. Contacted BBB. They even ignored them. In July I received an email that a shipment was arriving.
It came.same exact one as before.
So now I have 2. Not worth my time and energy fighting with these *** Ill sell both as new.

Top was sewn too close to the edge on on passenger side, came loose, and flaps in the wind. Sent photos, emailed numerous times, and asked to be contacted to discuss.

Purchased a headliner for my BMW convertible from this company on 4/8/2021. It arrived damaged.
I called for a replacement and was told to send an email. Today is 5/28/2021 and I still don't have a replacement. To make matters worse no one will answer the phone or your emails.
The absolute worst customer service. I have a case open in PayPal to recover my money.

Terrible quality
- - Top failed after about a month; seams split and rain leaks.
- - It's cheap, thin, loud, with poor longevity; back window creases easily; cost $500.
AutoTopsDirect I've had the soft top on my 96 Miata for about a month. Half of that time the car has been kept in a garage and out of the elements (central North Carolina).
Today I noticed one of the seams was starting to come apart, first on the outside and now on the inside (rain now drips in)(see photos). I'm very disappointed that despite painstakingly installing and caring for it, it has still started to fail.
If you want something that will last more than 2 weeks , I would recommend you spend the money on a top actually made to last. If you just need something for a week or two, then you can take the gamble on this one.
Cons: cheap, thin, poor longetivity, back plastic window creases/scratches easily, LOUD (no noise insulation as compared to factory quality tops)

The actual convertible top appears to be a good product. The service is awful!!
I called the company before I purchased to discuss what instructions come with the top, I was assured that I would be sent a PDF with detailed pictures and instructions, and I could call back with any questions...well that is a lie!
They send you a PDF that tells you nothing and worst yet the pictures are so blurred and grainy you could be looking at the space shuttle for all you know...I called back to get some assistance as I had a few questions, the young man who answered knew nothing about convertibles or convertible tops, he told me to send some pictures and someone "technical" would get back with me...I sent the pictures and emails and yes indeed...yet another lie. Why would you allow someone who is not familiar with your products to answer your phones??
If you are a professional installer-this is a good basic top-other than that-RUN, do not walk away from this company.
If it sounds too good to be true it is! These are not honest people.
