Buyer Beware - no company name on mailer (AGV billing)

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I started typing a long story here, but decided to just warn you these boys are clowns. They are hustling for commissions and once they have that, good luck.

They will try to insult you and if you're convincing enough you may get them to cancel your policy (which I had no belief was real). After trying to cancel I knew for sure I had been scammed, so immediately locked my credit card and reported them as fraudulent. Any company that won't let you speak to their manager or won't send you an email confirmation of cancellation after a 30 minute argument about how you don't want their services is a joke. I can guarantee this is a group of about 5 guys who figured out how to make a buck and laughs about their phone calls with customers at the end of each day.

After I called back to once again confirm that they would cancel my policy, I did receive an email stating that my policy was indeed canceled (which is something they said they weren't willing to do). I know the only reason I received the letter was because the guy freaked out when I mentioned that I called the credit card company and reported them. Lesson learned - if a company isn't willing to share their name with you, there is a reason for it.

Don't do business with them. I'm going to leave a review for Omega warranty (who is fairly reputable) because they are doing business with these jokers.

SCAMMERS BEWARE

I received a notice in the mail saying that my warranty for my car is up. i called and they were very convincing that i needed to extend my warranty.

they told me i would have to make a deposit of $400 and then $200 monthly for a five year warranty. After i got off the phone i looked at my bank account and i noticed the spelling of the word company because they spelled it companie was a red flag. i immediately called my bank and they told me the company is a scam and blocked all charges from this company and issued me a new card. i ended up calling the company back and asked for me to cancel their service, and then they started harassing me stating over and over again, what seems to be the issue.

after an hour i got really frustrated because they simply would not cancel this service. they were rude and quite annoying.

i treated to report them to the BBB and stopped answering their calls and they did the reversal of my payment. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY IT IS A SCAM AND THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND REFUSE TO GIVE IT BACK.

Mispresenting as my Dealership and their skimming letter.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

After they send me this letter, note that they uses names as Motor vehicle services to warn you that your cars warranty is about to expire, I immediately call the number. They misrepresented themselves as somewhat affiliated with the dealership and threatened me that my warrant is about to expire so I thought calling them would resolve what ever is on the skimming letter they have sent me.

So they gathered information and as well my credit card info. After the conversation, I just realized that something went wrong and so I called my dealership and they said that they are not affiliated with this so called Motor Vehicle Service or Autoplex. So I called this fraudulent company and asking that I want to cancel this warranty but they don't want to cancel or make any refunds and it not even an hour passed since I talked to them. They took $395 on my account which I ended up closing that account because they are still taking money out from it every month.

After they got my money they eventually cancelled it. I said to them I didn't use any of your service and right away after we talked I called back to cancel but they wouldn't so why are they after my money. I have a family to feed and I am thriving to live with our economy situation but there are people, companies like this who are greedy and no conscience of what are they doing to people like us who work fairly and with good conscience to make a living. I hope justice will serve on company like this!

God is not done yet with you Autoplex Company. People who work here and live in lies will meet your judgement day eventually.

I would sue this company for emotional abuse and maltreatment.

I would sue this company for emotional abuse and maltreatment if it were that easy. I have contacted the better business bureau and the government is apparently in the process of taking action to shut this company down. I received ten "WARNING, your coverage is about to expire!" pieces of mail in two days from this company ( concerning a newly purchased vehicle) and gave them a call back. I was under the impression I was renewing my factory coverage as that is what the mail appeared to be. I signed up for a new policy and when I reviewed the pamphlet in the mail I decided that I did not need it and it was not what I had thought.

The phone number provided is (877)- 297-**** and I spoke with people named James, Tyler, Derek and Kyle. Each of these men were trained in aggressive sales tactics and intimidating wording. I called three times to try to cancel and hung up each time feeling thoroughly emotionally abused. They will ask why you are cancelling, why you signed up and spin anything you say to insult you. After they have listed off what is included in the plan if you still want to cancel they will say "You didn't listen to a word I just said, did you?" (Two reps used the same exact wording). They say they are with a call center and do not work for autoplex, yet the man who sold me the policy through this number is listed on my pamphlet as the sales rep.

The first rep accused me of wanting to cancel because I couldn't get a receipt for my down payment (apparently they 'don't do receipts'). I ended up getting so upset I just hung up. The second call was similar and in the third I got my policy cancelled but not without the man accusing me of "being confused and not thinking clearly." I finally had to tell him to stop speaking and listen to me, I said, "I want to cancel my policy because-here is the because- I do not need the coverage! I am not confused!" He ended up yelling at me over the phone and I hung up. I did not get my down-payment back although it states within the booklet that if I cancel within 30 days it is refundable. I will not call their center again to avoid further maltreatment but I am working with the better business bureau and the fraud department within my bank.

Do not sign up with a policy from this company. They are abusive, fraudulent and will apparently be shut down by the government in the future anyway. If you do need to cancel your policy with them know that you will not accomplish this without enduring emotional abuse and overall maltreatment. Their tactics are purely to get the customer wound into such a high strung emotional state and intimidate, bully and insult them from there; often resulting in the customer simply hanging up the phone. The will take anything you may say and spin into outrageous insults. It is a wonder that such behavior has been condoned in a place of business- and taught to new employees no less!

Motor Vehicle Services/Autoplex Contract Ripoff

Representative stated contract would be same or better than what I currently have at a much lower price. When received contract, it was not the same and did not cover most important and expensive parts.

In accordance with Contract, cancellation within 30 days could be made at full refund. I mailed cancellation and request for full refund on 3/21/14 and the 30 days was up 3/26/14. UPS delivered on 3/27/14 and company signed receipt at 10 am. Company kept $146.98 for less than 1 day into contract.

No claims had been filed.

These are the rudest people I ever had to deal with. Buyer beware they are dishonest and this is ripoff.
