Unprofessional service

AI Highlights
  • - Purchased a 05 Chevrolet Colorado single cab from Houston; the experience was unsatisfactory.
  • - No title, plates or sticker despite paying taxes and license.

I purchased a vehicle from you Houston location which I was very dissatisfied with the whole sale. First of all I was told to come get the vehicle 05 Chevrolet colorado single cab pickup.

When I got there which was 2 hours away by the manager. When I got there the assistant manager told me no one called from the same number that had me come which I left work to come there. I was told to come back tomorrow which I told them my wife had to work so then they told me to take the vehicle which I left half on the asking price. Then the next day I was asked to come back the deal is final and I sat there waiting for four hours waiting on the financial person.

The finance person set me up with some place in Ohio with 25% interest rates which would have made me pay double for the vehicle so I phone my wife and told her I will pay the vehicle off the next month before my first payment is due because I was not pay eight thousand on a four thousand and five hundred vehicle. I paid it off as planned but no title no one even called me tell over a month later to inform me that I needed to get the vehicle inspected so they could apply at DMV for the title. Which I paid taxes title and license before I left the first time. On top of that no one checked the vehicle before sale which ever major dealership does or the vehicle goes to auction.

But no I had to do it and bring the inspection to the dealership. So I call the Ohio finance place and they have told me they have reached out to Autonation several times to get the title and nothing. I'm waiting still but I have purchased over 50 vehicles and never waited like this not even a phone call just wait now if I would have missed a payment or not paid my first payment someone would have been at my home to remove the vehicle.

I purchased this vehicle January 27, 2020 and still going round and round with no title, plates nor sticker. I just want my above items so I can move on would like someone in the corporate office to investigate or reach out to me because this is very unprofessional.

Pros:
  • People seem friendly to your face
Cons:
  • Waste customers time

Preferred solution: I just want my above items

DO NOT EVER GO TO AN AUTONATION DEALERSHIP

AI Highlights
  • - AutoNation dealerships mislead about loan approvals and pressure you to switch banks for high rates, even with good credit.

People save your time and money dont ever go to an AutoNation dealership. They all seem nice to your face and the moment you sign a deal theyll call you back claiming the bank never approved it and make you change banks to an exorbitant amount yet I have great credit and get told my interest rate will be through the roof. VERY UNHAPPY and will tell everyone never to go there.
