The horrible treatment and the car I bought at AutoNation Nissan in Memphis Tn

Yes, on July 28th of this year, I bought a 2016 Ford Focus from AutoNation Nissan in Memphis Tn. The car had an exhaust put on it by the previous owner and AutoNation Nissan said they would remove it.

I told them yes. I went back on 08-08-22. Mark Miller the salesperson and Joshua Robinson who was the Sales manager at the time, led me to believe the car was back and I could take it home after I signed the final paperwork. I put $6400.00 down on this car.

After I finished with the paperwork, I was given a key to a Nissan and I when I asked them where my car was, they wouldn't tell me. My 2016 Ford Focus finally got back to the dealership on 08-11-22 and I went and got it and turned the Nissan in. I drove the car until 09-13-22, when it would not accelerate above 15 mph. I still went by AutoNation rules and set up service for 09-16-22.

I had recently moved from Olive Branch Ms to Memphis Tn and I was just around the corner from dealership. I barely made it up there. I was told by the service department that the transmission was out. It was then taken by a service technician to AutoNation Ford on Mt.

Moriah in Memphis Tn. As of today, 11-10-22, it is still there. For the last several weeks, I had made phone calls, emails, texts, anything to get an update on my car. Nobody will ever even get in touch with me.

I called Mark Miller, the salesperson I bought it from. He has never gotten an update on it and in the last 2 weeks, I decided that I want my money back. I had to pay Uber for 2 weeks, then pay a $200 deposit to get a so called rental car that came off AutoNation Nissan's lot. I have been not only inconvenienced but almost broke having to put gas in this 2021 Nissan Rogue that is huge, a deposit for rental, Uber rides, and then I am totally ignored by people at both dealerships.

Yes I saved all of my emails, texts and everything because I have nothing to hide. I threatened them in a legal way of taking them to court, going to the media and whatever else I can do. This is the worst situation I have ever been in. I am a 63 year old woman just trying to buy what would have probably been my last car before I die.

I want my money back . I cannot take this anymore and I am not even worth a response by any of these people. I got to have a car and I found one online but I have to have my money back to pay for it. I put down my whole life savings of $6400.00

One more thing, this Nissan Rogue, the rental or replacement car, the tags went out on 10-22-22.

I already got a ticket and explained this to Mark Miller via text and email and got no response as usual. While the car has set in the AutoNation Ford service department, the extended warranty ran out.

I am not dealing with this anymore. I could have a heart attack or a stroke over this. Tomorrow I am going to AutoNation Nissan and turning in this Rogue and I am getting my $6400.00 + $200 deposit + $72.and change on Uber rides.

I have also had to keep up car payments and insurance on a car that is not drive able. This has gone way too far.

Sincerely,

Sheryl Wallace

User's recommendation: I am going to the dealership tomorrow and if they do not return my money then I will be seeing them in court. They have totally ignored my calls, texts and emails and they have held it personally against me for complaining about AutoNation. Do not do any business with these people. They only care about taking people's money and don't card about you getting what you paid for.

On 7-28-2021 I brought my car to autonation Nissan for service. Three months later I went by to check the status of my vehicle.

They could not find my vehicle in their system. When I gave them the vin number they pulled the vehicle info up. The ticket had been closed out. They told me that one one the employees closed the ticket out and quit.

Nothing had been done to the vehicle all this time. Then the key was misplaced, so I had to bring them my spare key. Another month later their telling me it's going to cost me 6,300 to get it fixed. This has been such an inconvenience for myself and family.

I had been very patience with the whole situation. When I ask there has to be something that you all can do. I was told No. The guy told me he'll let me pick it up at no charge.

That doesn't help me very much.

Thank you for reading my concern. I hope that this matter can be handled better.

I took my car to autonation Nissan on 07/28/2021. My vehicle stayed up there for 3 months with nothing been done to it. When I went to check on my vehicle, they could not find it in their system. When they did find it, someone had closed the ticket out. So nothing was done to the vehicle, the staff knew nothing about the car being there. My key to the vehicle got lost somehow. I had to bring them my extra set of keys. My battery, when dead, everything, is a disaster at this point. And now that they finally got to look at the vehicle, it's 6,300 to get fix. This has been such an inconvenience to me. It has been five month with me going through this.
