Burn job dealership

AI Highlights
  • - A $23,000 SUV from Autonation was bought with promised engine fixes.
  • - They lied about engine repairs, making the vehicle unsafe.

I've been burn by crooks of bad business I purchased a suv told the sales employee that the suv has problems and that they would fix the engine problems that was a lie after lies with a lot of managers. The engine problems left me and my wife strained in another state we are both disabled.

I recently lost my father and little brother. I couldn't even go to my dad's funeral because of unsafe $23,000 vehicle from autonation this story it so long for a review but a news station maybe people would understand that autonation are crooked

Loss:
$13

Preferred solution: For them to let me buy the suv for $10,400 bbk and to fix the engine. not for they burn me $23,000 broken down vehicle that i only had for 7 months

User's recommendation: I recommend out of 5 stars would be negative 5 stars

AI Highlights
  • - Bought a new Jeep in November.
  • - Backup camera replaced in Nov.
  • - Radio and Uconnect lock up; no fix yet.
  • - Poor service and mechanics; radio not delivered.

I purchased a new jeep at the beginning of November. The backup camera was replaced at the end of November.

The radio and phone would lock up and the uconnect didn't work. I was told at the end of December that I needed a new radio and that should fix everything. As of today I still don't have the new radio! I am driving a brand new vehicle that isn't working correctly.

I'm certain that if I wasn't making my car payment they wouldn't be very happy. Well neither am I! I left ford to come to Jeep because there was improvement with service and the vehicles.

I wish I had never changed. Poor service, poor mechanics.

Cons:
  • Since all the issues just not happy with the vechile
  • Poor quality of jeep product
Reason of review:
Poor customer service

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered

AI Highlights
  • - Certified 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee bought 12/29/17.
  • - There was a transaxle leak and a preexisting engine light/ignition coil issue.

I purchased a certified 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee on 12/29/17. Two weeks or so later when I had the fluids checked, the mechanic checking the fluids found a leak next to the transaxle case plug and a seal for the transaxle case.

I informed the Sales Manager, Steve Kern and he started swearing at me about how hard he busted his *** to get the deal done. That is problem one. Problem two is I tried to contact corporate 6 times over the course of 6 weeks to no avail. Problem three is that the transaxle fluid is in need of changing and if they indeed did an inspection, they should have found that.

Before I even took it off the lot, a check engine light came on and the ignition coil needed to be replaced. Again, if they had done the inspection, they should have found it. I also have tried to contact the finance department to find out the expiration date of the certified warranty and in two weeks, I never heard back from them.

I called for status on the repair numerous times on 1/16 and as of noon, Mountain time, they could not give me a status. At Noon, they had the vehicle in their possession for 5 hours.

Cons:
  • Finance department not returning phone calls
  • Service department
  • Unable to reach anyone at corporate office
Reason of review:
Poor customer service

Preferred solution: $180 per day for loss due to not being able to work and change transaxle fluid.
