Verified ReviewerUnprofessional behavior by one of the managers; lack of communication; deceptive practices
- - Sales staff gave inconsistent funding updates.
- - Deposit asked before papers were ready.
- - Papers were not sent and we bought elsewhere.
We reached out about a used car we found on Cargurus. We received an email back the next morning.
About 9:30 am that morning we shared our questions about funding from our outside lender. The first sales person told us he was checking and never responded after that. We received a follow up call from a new sales person. Is shared the lending process from our lender and the response was no problem.
We drove out to the dealership at 6:30 that night. They were going to call us with our trade in value and we never received a call. I reached out on the following Monday and we eventually came to a deal. No was asked to come sign papers and then told I needed to give a deposit so it was not sold out from under me.
They told me they could not get the papers ready because the car had not even been inspected. I then received a call saying the papers would be ready and they would pay for my gas for the inconvenience. I was told the papers would be ready and I would be in and out on 30 mins. The papers were not ready and I waited an hour and a half to sign.
Again making sure the lady I signed papers with knew the funding process from my bank and I was told it was not a problem. I was also told since it was so late they would deliver the car to me the following day.
They did not send the signed documents to my bank like they said they would. Around 11am the following day my banker hand to call the dealership to request the paperwork. At that time the person he talked to said they did not accept the banks funding process.
I received a call from a sales manager, Anthony, who told me he had just talked to my loan officer and that my loan officer does not fund with cashiers checks. This is not the truth and I let him know that was not the case. First, Anthony did not talk to the loan officer. Someone named Marco did.
Marco had said he would call my loan officer back as he was going to ask for an exception in drafting. Anthony lied numerous times. Including saying he sat with my husband and I on Friday (we didnt come one a Friday) and that he told me then they did not accept my banks funding process. I never had a conversation with this Anthony man other than him to tell us he would call us on our trade in value.
Which he never did. I told him I had it in writing where I asked multiple times before even driving to the dealership. We hung up and I called him back around 4 that afternoon. He lied again saying he read all my correspondence and I never mentioned the funding process.
Only that I would hand deliver a cashiers check and had asked about finding off a draft. I let him know he was not honest and he hung up on me.
This was 3 days of the run around by this dealership. The following day I spent maybe 3 hours at another dealership buying the same model vehicle with no hassle at all.
- Rude dishonest lack of communication
Preferred solution: An apology from this dealership and for them to do as they said -refund us our gas for the last trip out there to sign papers.
User's recommendation: Do not waste your time with this dealership. There are cars at other dealerships that you can buy and not have near the drama or stress.

Verified Reviewer |Refund of warranties
- - Sought refunds on two warranties for a 2019 Grand Cherokee.
- - One refund issued; the second had wrong city/ZIP.
- - Checks delivered 1/14/2022.
My husband had a 2019 Grand Cherokee and thoroughly enjoyed it. He recently passed and I sold the vehicle.
I had gone into the dealership on 9-30-2021 to take my 2015 Cherokee Latitude in for service due to a recall. While there, I went to the Finance Dept. and spoke to Jishai and requested the refunds on the 2 warranties still outstanding on the 2019 vehicle. He filled out the paperwork and advised me it may take 6-8 weeks to get my refunds.
On 12-08-2021, after several attempts to reach Jishai by phone, I made a trip into the dealership to check on my refunds.
I spoke to him about not receiving my refunds, and he checked the paperwork. He said one refund was sent on 11-11-2021, and the 2nd one never showed it had been issued. He showed me the paperwork and I noticed that the city and zip were incorrect, He said he would issue a trouble ticket and corrected the city and zip. Furthermore, he advised me this would take about 24 hours, and he would call me.
I sent Jishai a text on 12-09-2021asking about the status of my checks. He said he hadn't heard anything and that he would contact his accounting manager to see if she could help. On 12-11-2021, I texted Jishai again. He said that a stop payment was issued on 12-10-2021 and a reissue was next.
I inquired if that was for both checks and would I get the checks in about a week. He said the checks were issued by the corporate offices, and he was not sure of the turnaround time. He would inquire about that on Mon 12-13-2021. NEVER GOT A CALL OR TEXT!
I texted him on 12-15-2021 again, NO RESPONSE! I texted again on 12-16-2021, and he said he talked to his office manager, and she advised that the whole process takes 3 weeks. After, the check is canceled, they wait 10 days before reissue and then mail out a check. I thanked him for checking on this matter and told him that I was upset as this has taken over 2 1/2 months.
I asked him to have a supervisor call me that, as I think that this is totally unfair. They can see the checks have not been cashed, and the address was corrected. I told him that I was not going to accept this, and I wanted a call back from the supervisor that day. I NEVER got a call from either the supervisor or Jishai.
On 01-06-2022, I sent Jishai a text and said that I have heard nothing from him, or his supervisor and I still did NOT have the checks.
I requested a status update. NEVER HEARD BACK!
On 01-10-2022, I called the dealership and requested to speak to the General Manager. (When I had called on the 01-07-2022 requesting to speak with the General Manager, I was advised he was on vacation and would be back the following Monday).
I called on 01-10-2022, and requested the General Manager, guess what? The operator said, she hadn't seen him and didn't even know if he was in.
She never left the line to check but did ask if I would be willing to speak with someone else. I told her, I didn't think so, as I had a complaint and wanted a resolution to my problem. She asked if the supervisor in
Customer Relations might help. I spoke to Mia in Customer Relations, explained my frustration in getting a solution.
She kept me on the line while she called the refund center. She advised me that they would stop payment on the checks and expedite. Takes about 24 hours. The refund center would also issue 2 new checks and mail them to me overnight.
Mia, said she would follow up with them and as soon as the checks were issued, she would get the tracking number and call me. We could both then track the checks. I NEVER HEARD FROM HER! On 01-12-2022, I called Mia at 12:53 pm and left a message.
At 4:52 I called her again and left a message. I never heard from her. When I called again on 01-13-2022, I was advised she had left for the day. On Friday, 01-14-2022, I went outside and found the FedEx envelope laying on the front porch.
This made me angry, as I never got any notice that the check was being delivered. In the envelope, there were 2 checks totaling $2,446.00. With all the porch pirates, don't you think this was irresponsible?
This whole matter was mishandled and never followed up on. Yes, I FINALLY got my refunds but at what cost?
What happened to good customer service? I have purchased my last 3 vehicles from this dealership and have taken them in for service.
No more! The cost to me was stress and much aggravation, and the cost to you is, I am no longer a customer of Auto Nation.

Verified Reviewer |I don't have my financial paperwork yet!
- - Signed paperwork for a 2018 Jeep Renegade.
- - Promised emailed paperwork; financial docs not arrived.
- - Drove back twice and can't get papers.
When I signed all the paperwork required to purchase my used 2018 Jeep Renegade, they said that they would email all my paperwork to me, but I haven't received my financial paperwork at all.
I drove back up there twice and nobody could get it to me. I work two jobs and I can't get up there to the car dealership often and why should I have to keep wasting gas to keep turning up empty handed.
Will somebody help me get all my paperwork I signed??
- Ok salesmens
- No fax
- Didnt email paperwork to me
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered
User's recommendation: No because once you buy a car, there's no good customer service.
Love Jeep GC - Really Dislike this Dealer...
- - Purchased fourth Jeep via Costco; price was fair.
- - Post-sale service was poor and unresponsive.
- - Dealer reportedly only responds to threats.
I just purchased my fourth Jeep Grand Cherokee. Used the Costco car program and ended up connected to AutoNation Jeep in North Richland Hills, TX. The price we arrived at was fair and I completed the purchase. EVERYTHING after that was root-canal-painful... This dealership is Exhibit A for why car dealers have a bad reputation. Missed commitments, no response to emails/calls. The ONLY thing they respond to is threats (gee, isn’t that fun as a consumer...). I give up... I’ll continue to buy Jeeps, but your brand is being tarnished by this dealership.
- XM/UConnect should have 1 year free trial periods. My new car had none and, only upon complaining did I receive 3 months.
- Agreement to install trailer hitch at “cost” has not been honored.
- After-market phone gadget that had been installed (I did not notice this until a week after purchase. Was not told about it) has not been explained.
- Salesperson has gone non-responsive
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution

I also a few years ago had a awful experience with Autonation in Orlando, Florida by the airport. I would NEVER go there again or recommend them. Once you buy and drive off the lot, they will never recognize you again.
