Loveland Auto Transport - LYING - Corvettes Damaged!!!

Loveland Auto Transport has got to be the slime that I couldn't seem to get scraped off of my shoe. Let me start from the begining. My wife and I were being transfered from Houston, TX to Denver, CO thru our respective companies. The original company that put us in touch with the contractor (North Star Auto Transport - Keith is the owner)

Keith contacted us and set up a pick up time for our 2010 and 2011 Corvette Z06's after he was contracted by our relocation company. That was all well and good until the transport truck did not show up at the scheduled time. They didn't even show up until the next day! In the meantime my wife and I were having our household goods loaded and had to be out of our house in less than a day from the time the vehicle transport truck was scheduled to be there. Keith attempted to get us taken care of by having us drop our vehicles off at another transport company's lot which was only a few miles from our home in Houston. My wife and I DROVE our 2 Corvettes to this "holding area" so that the transport carrier could pick them up when they FINALLY arrived. Well with the amount of money we have tied up with these two vehicles (they were purchased brand new. We had the '11 for 4 months and the '10 for 2 months!!!) to say that we were concerned with the transport of these two babies would be an understatement!

We worked with Keith at North Star via phone calls trying to ensure that the cars were actually picked up by the car hauler that evening and we were told that "Holly" (who is actually married to John the owners of Loveland) was nothing more than a dispatcher for Keith's company. Lie number 1. We attempted to contact Holly for hours and well into the late evening to see where the car hauler was and attempt to find out if our vehicles were actually picked up. When my wife finally got Holly on the phone she was irrate and extremely rude. Never the less our vehicles were picked up (according to Keith's phone call the following day) and we were given a phone number for the transport hauler driver. Or so we thought...

We left Houston Thursday and hauled our 12 year old husky and the belongings that we didn't want transported with our household goods in a rental car and headed to Denver. We were given a delivery date of the following Saturday between noon and three PM at our new residence. After almost 20+ hours in a car we arrived in Denver Saturday around mid morning. Then we tried to contact the driver... Only to find out that the number we were given was to some mortgage company in Loveland, CO!!! We waited at the new house from noon until after four PM... No cars... No phone calls from the driver or the folks at Loveland, and no phone call from Keith with North Star.

Now WE started making phone calls to Holly and Keith trying to find out where our vehicles were. Keith was too busy playing hockey to answer his phone and Holly seemed to have vanished. For the next six hours we made phone calls to both Loveland and North Star trying to find our vehicles. We finally got in touch with Holly who hung up on my wife and told her that she (Holly) was going to put the cars in storage and good luck finding them! Unbelievable!!! These people were going to hold our vehicles hostage so that they could charge us as much as they could for storage fees. We found this website and then it started to really sink in that we were about to get screwed!!!

I contacted my attorney and a representative from his office contacted Holly. She hung up on him as well!

Now I am hitting the panic and the *** of button at the same time. We contacted the Houston Police Department, the Denver Police Department, OnStar, our insurance company and reported the vehicles stolen.

Then we have to sit and wait all day Sunday with no contact from Loveland... Keith with Northstar finally admitted on Sunday that he had subcontracted this job to Loveland and that Holly wasn't just a dispatcher as he had originally told us. Now I'm really pissed. Our cars are gone. This liar had to tell me the truth because he had no idea where our vehicles are, and this angry little ogre is not answering any of our phone calls.

Monday... I get a very calm almost sickeningly sweet phone call from Holly telling me that our cars will be delivered around 12:30 PM at our new residence, and the driver will call us when he is about 30 minutes out.

Well I parked myself and my wife at the new house about an hour early... just in case. I video taped everything from that point forward. The driver showed up (and never called until he was parked in front of the house)at 11:45 AM. Here comes the insult to injury part.

Not only had both of our cars been unloaded off of the 8-10 car hauler that they were picked up on, but they were reloaded onto a 2 car hauler when they were delivered to the house. But wait... there's more. They (the folks with Loveland) had damaged BOTH of the cars in the process of loading, unloading, loading, and then unloading!!! They ripped the front spoiler off of the '11 and took part of the body off with it. They also broke the front spoiler on the '10 and had actually tried to superglue it back together!!! I took pictures and wish I could load them on here!!!

The driver that delivered the cars tried to say that they were damaged when the driver picked them up in Houston. Then they tried to blame it on the lot that we had to drop them off at in Houston. They did everything they could to NOT take the blame for the obvious damage that they caused.

I will almost promise you that the people at Loveland (John Richard Pipe)have dissappeared, changed their company name, changed the address, and are operating under a new company. PLEASE research these people and make sure that you don't let them touch your vehicle!!!

We were a corporate relocation and the cars have been repaired, but this was a nightmare I could have gone my entire life and not dreamed it up.

Loveland Auto Transport

Loveland Auto Transport a new name for Fair Deal Auto which has a long history of stealing from consumers in Colorado. Now they've moved to UShip pretending to be Loveland Automotive Investments or Loveland Auto Transport.

They bid on Uship to deliver cars, pick them up from unsuspecting consumers, never deliver them and then extort money from customers to get their cars back. Some customers have complained that they are trying to resell these cars before the unsuspecting original owner gets wind, wreck the cars for insurance, total them out for parts. When customers catch up with them weeks later, the car is gone, Loveland Auto Transport doesn't answer the phone, changes their name, etc.

The company will give you a name and address of Loveland Auto Transport when they pick up your car. But the address on the bill of lading is a residential address belonging to the owner, John Pipe. (not his real name). The owner is a kiwi who apparently has a dodgy history back home and in Australia.

Various addresses they use are;

616 McKenzie Loveland Colorado

6503 East County Road 14 Loveland Colorado

2400 North Lincoln Avenue Loveland Colorado

1505 South Lincoln Loveland Colorado.

Various business names are Loveland Automotive Investments, Loveland Auto Transport, Fair Deal, Berthoud Fair Deal, Berthoud Auto Transport, etc.

The company has 9 complaints with the BBB in colorado in the last few months alone. They frequently change their name to avoid anyone catching up to them. If there is any delay in delivering your car, they've probably started the scam on you. It's best to contact the Larimer County Sheriff Department, The Loveland Police Department, and the Larimer County District Attorney's office. You can file on-line with the BBB, but it will be for informational purposes for other consumers only. This guy doesn't care about complaints or even judgments against him. He's a scam artist that knows what he's doing.

In any case, these are the kind of scam artists Uship is exposing you to!

Haha....your an ***. These 2 companies have nothing to do with each other.

If you really did your research, you would know that they are in fact 2 different companies that at one point, briefly shared the same storage location.

Unfortunately, you are just going by what other uniformed folks who also have not done their research are claiming. Nice try!

After reading these reviews I would like to clarify a couple of points. The first being that Loveland Auto Transport has no affiliation whatsoever with Fairdeal Auto,s aside from previuosly renting parking from that owner. The lady who wrote that review has spoken to the Larimer Sherrifs dept who after checking the complaint she made were in the process of citing her for making a false report. Her Father explained that his daughter suffers from childhood mental health issues and apologised for our time wasted with this matter. The next review is from an ex-employee who is disgruntled that HE damaged a vehicle and this cost of repair was deducted from his final paycheck. The repair was carried out and the customer was very satisfied with the way the issue was dealt with.

loveland auto transport is a rip off, the kiwi john is very sketchy as well as josh the other owner. I stopped working 4 loveland auto transport when I found they covered up the damaged car brand new damaged car from league city texas.

they had the car repainted other things done took automatically and did not tell the owners or dealership that the car was damaged. I have pictures of the car because I knew they were going to be sketchy about it. if you decide to have your car shipped through reindeer auto transport make sure you tell them you do not want loveland auto transport to touch your vehicle.

the owner was driving 1 time in texas with me he did not secure the car in the car fell off on the interstate, minor damage was done to the car but josh the owner refused to tell the recipient's that the car was damaged. if you have any questions or need somebody to testify on your behalf I would be more than willing.
