Clutch Did Not Fit

I ordered a clutch kit online from APW claiming it was an "exact fit" for my car, only to find out through incurring 5+ hours of labor costs that nothing fits. Now, customer service is claiming they can't reimburse the damages incurred in labor fees by their incompetency. I have already been on the phone with 3 customer service reps, none of which can immediately help me out. I asked to speak with management, but the "managers" are all conveniently in meetings when I call. I'm assuming not many of these "managers" or "Supervisors" can do much about this since it is supposedly against their policy, but it's just plain wrong. This place sucks, shut this business down.

Power steering pump rip off

Very disappointed with my purchase. The information on the main page for the power steering pump I purchased was not enough for me to know that I had multiple options that fit my year make and model of car but not all options worked for me. So of course I bought one that didn't work for me. I had to return it on my own dime get a new one which charged me a core charge to make sure I returned the broken old pump so they can use it to re-manufacture and resell it, but again they made me pay for shipping (which the sales rep on the phone told me I wouldnt have to, so he lied to me). After all is said and done, I spent considerably more money with auto parts warehouse than if I had just gone to my local auto parts store. I also had to wait two weeks to fix my car because it was online where as my local store I could have it done in a day, and I would have gotten the right part the first time with my local store. I definitely do not recommend these guys. If you do like to get your parts online I have had good luck so far though with Rockauto.com

WORST customer service ever!!!

I've been trying to return a back taillight because on their website it says it was a complete fit, yet it didn't come with a cover on the inside so all the wires are exposed and could be dislodged by items in my trunk. After two weeks of explaining this to them, they decide to issue me an RMA. Except my thirty days on my return was up and they emailed me saying we can't return your item. So after getting their supervisor on the line and a week wasted they issue me another RMA but I need to send pictures. So I did but they ended up losing them twice and not contacting me back. I've ran into every trick in their playbook to stop people from ever returning items. I'm literally still waiting for my RMA and this whole process has been like a month long and going…..

Screwed out of $250

Ordered a $230 A/C compressor for my car on 6/17/14 and paid an extra $20 for 2-day shipping. I knew it wouldn't be here until Friday (6/20/14) at the latest due to the fact I ordered after 1 pm. Today, (6/19/14), I still have yet to receive a tracking number for my order. I called customer service and was told that my order was still "processing". I told her that shouldn't be the case since I ordered two days ago and that my order was supposed to be here BY tomorrow. In short, she told me a number of things. She told me that the part was 'out of stock', I told her that the website said otherwise. She then said that the website wasn't updated. I asked her what kind of business doesn't update their website? I also told her I would have never ordered the part had I known it wasn't 'in stock'. Then I started getting angry and told her that if my part isn't here by tomorrow like they said it would be, that I demand a full refund, including the extra $20 shipping I paid to ensure it would be here on time otherwise I would take possible legal action. She then asked if I would like to wait until tomorrow for the part, cancel the order now, or select an alternative part. I told her absolutely not for the alternative part and that I would never order from APW again, so I settled with waiting until tomorrow. I did bring up that the $250 was taken from my account although they claim that it isn't taken out until it's shipped. She tried arguing with me over that even though I have accessed my bank account 3+ times since ordering and have yet to see my $250 magically reappear. Learned my lesson, and they'll learn theirs if my part isn't here on time.

Poor Packaging, 3rd attempt still damaged

The one star, is only because I couldn't choose ZERO stars. If you were in the business of shipping radiators to people... wouldn't you pack them properly so they don't get ruined in the FedEx process? After the THIRD attempt at shipping me my radiator, still no packing protection whatsoever in the box, and of course its ruined by the time it gets to me. Order # 2159**** from june 22... so here I am a month later, with another broken radiator, and no refund... just starting the returns/ refund process. Wish me luck!!!! Do yourself a favor and RUN away from this company.

I have been waiting over 2 months for my refund

I ordered a MAP sensor from APW for a 1999 Mercury Villager. They sent a part for a Jeep. They blamed me. They said I ordered the Jeep part. I explained that on their website you had to enter the year, make. and model of your car before you can order a part. They said they would send an email with a return label and they did, We then pack the part back into the box it came in and took it to Pack and Ship , Pack and Ship printed out the label and attached it to the box. We asked for a receipt but was told since we were not paying for the shipment that we would not get a receipt. This all happened around April 14,2014. They tell me that they have never received the part back and that I would not get a refund until they receive the part. Now I have done all I can do about returning the part. I have tried to check with FEDEX and they say they do not have the part. The tracking number led to the post office. The PO says it was never in their computer. P&S says it`s not in their office. So now I have spoken to many people and just get a run around. I now will try to contact Ross Newton, the owner.

Delibered to different address

I bouht two lower control arm for 03 nissan murano and then they send two fedex tracking # so one part come in 3 bussines days but the other one is not so i wait 5 bussines days and nothing but i saw the fedex tracking # is say is delibered same day when the one coming then i call AUTO PARTS WAREHOUSE then theys says is delibered to the right address i say no is not i call fedex same day they say yes they delibered to diferent address the sender put diferent address but they wont tell me where so i call back to the store when i tell them one costumer service represent, she say no waith 7 bussines day for lost claim i say way fedex say sender send to diferent address just call fedex and fix this answer is no, so i call againg and spoke 5 diferent represent and no one help me i waith 7 days i place lost claim purchase 06 -09-14 is 06-24-14 is not email o anything tell me what is going on my car is the shop waiting for my part this bad

Paying restocking fee for wrong part sent

ordered according to what APW website said i needed. Took over a week to come and was wrong part for my car. website says you must obtain a return # to get your refund without a restocking fee. i called for the number and they said i had to pay the restocking fee. i firmly politely claimed that getting the wrong part their site said i needed wasn't my fault. they finally said they would give me full reimbursement. when i got the confirmation email it shows they took the fee out after all. It cost me $12 to send it back which i will not recover. Total i am out because of auto part warehouse scam is about $24. I am hoping to get the credit on my card! I am happy to have come upon this site to see what has been going on with auto parts warehouse. I will surely not be ordering from them again. I will be telling my friends about this also. Thanks to all those who have taken time to tell their grievance.

I have been using Alto since the past 5 years. The car has never given me any trouble. But two month back the car started making noise. My driver suggested that we change the part, as that would be a good option in the long run. I had from a friend that he had bought Maruti Celerio Spare Parts from Suzuki Spare Parts. He was very happy with their service. So I decided to try them too. They organization has very friendly staff and they solve queries very fast. They provided me with Suzuki Alto Spare Parts and since the last two months my car is running fine. I will contact this organization for all my car part needs and would recommend their name to others too.

Ordered an ignition modual

It took 2 weeks to get the $135.00 part and it only lasted 2000 miles.From now on I will order local.Today I just found out it came out of a warehouse in India,From Parts Train.Go figure.Order Local.I origanaly ordered the part from Auto Parts Warehouse and I was woundering why it took 2 weeks to get the part.My car was down for 2 weeks.The part was a Delfi part.Made in China and it came out of a warehouse in India,I read.Do not do any business with Dropshippers,you won't know whare it comes from,and trying to get a replacement part is impossible,And don't expect to get your money back..

Sent me the wrong part and charged me a re-stocking fee

I ordered a part from Auto Parts Warehouse. I used their system to enter year, make and model of vehicle for the part I needed and then hit order. I received the wrong part. Now they are telling me I ordered the wrong part. They refused to accept their system was incorrect and want to charge me a restocking fee. I paid for 2 day shipping and they wont refund that either. Lousy customer service. They meet my definition of a "rip off." Do not trust Auto Parts Warehouse There are better auto parts businesses out there. I'm going back to Advanced Auto and Oreilly.

APW Rewards program a scam

They've been avoiding giving me my $100 credit when I redeemed 2000 points. I was told they will call me within the hour and waited 3 before I called back and the same B.S.

Finally transferred to Customer Service and told me I had to send email requesting credit and that they'll call me back.

B.S. "We'll call you back" means "Good luck, we are not giving you anything."

If I don't get my call back soon I will return thousands of dollars in parts back and they'll have to deal with my credit card company.

I've purchase parts ONLY with APW looking forward to use my points, but it is all a scam.

My lawyer will be able to do something since they broke their end of the deal.

Ordered Two Headlights New for 2005 Volvo, One lens still had bugs smeared on it from the used car it came out of!

You'd expect to get a NEW part when ordering NEW but was surprised that the ripoff person that put this NEW headlight assembly in a box to send me(along with the other NEW assembly for the other side of the car, which was fine) didn't even take the time to remove the bug smears from the lens. Obviously USED is more accurate for this NEW purchase. A round of multiple phone calls later, all ending up back in the Philippines at some obscure customer service call center. This is a very structured, multi-layered organization that has their tracks covered so don't expect to get service or satisfaction. Hold on to your money and go local USA only. It may cost more but people will be accountable. This type of fraud is illegal in the good old US of A.

I placed an order on a saturday for a thermostat and after double checking on Sunday i figured i ordered the wrong one so i emailed them to cancel the order. On monday the order shipped at 5pm and nobody cares to check emails in this age and time. ridiculous. when i call customer service (in Philippines)they want a 20% restocking.by them not checking their inbox it cost me 6$ shipping and 6$ return and same thermostat costs 6$ and free shipping for Prime members on Amazon. check other sites before u order from these *** dont think they have a warehouse either...... ..... .... ..... .... ..... ..... ....... ...... ..... ........ .......... .... .... .... ..... ..... ...... .... ..... ...... ....... .......... ......... ....... ......

I ordered a grill on a Thursday. I called customer service THE VERY NEXT DAY because I didn't get a tracking number only to be told there is NO TRACKING NUMBER CAUSE MY PACKAGE WASNT SHIPPED YET.

I said I'd like to cancel my order cause it wasn't shipped yet ALSO CAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP SAID IT WOULD TAKE ATLEAST 48 HRS TO PUT THE CANCELATION ORDER IN & I MIGHT STILL GET THE PACKAGE. DOUBLE TRIPLE TALK. WHY WOULD I STILL RECEIVE THE PACKAGE IF IT HADNT LEFT THE WAREHOUSE YET & WOULDNT LEAVE IT TILL MONDAY. THEN I WOULD HAVE TO SRND IT BACK & WONT SEE THE RETURN MONEY ON MY CARD FOF MAYBE 6 TO 7 WORKING DAYS.
