I needed a car to drive for Uber, now I need a new transmission..

They knowingly sold me a lemon vehicle (2014 Mazda 3). Their platinum power train warranty I bought by a-protect, is avoiding any contact with me. The transmission is making a whining sound that increases with speed and can lead to wheels seizing up and causing a deadly accident. I told them I was going to use it for driving passengers for Uber! The problem is due to a manufacturer defect, which causes a bearing in the transmission to go bad. When test driving the car I confused the sound with tire noise, so have a lot of other people who report this problem online. My mechanic lifted the car on a hoist and investigated the sound. He told me with a shocked look on his face that the transmission sounds like its about to blow up... My mechanic called the a-protect warranty company, after which they helped me open a warranty claim. I had the car inspected by the same dealer I bought it from (a-protect only deals with their own mechanic shops). The mechanic at the dealer said He will submit the paperwork to a-protect, and a-protect will call you. He never told me what the repairs it needs or how much they cost. Two days passed no one called, so I called a-protect myself. I asked if the mechanic submitted paper work, to which the lady I spoke to replied that all our our operators are busy today, give us your phone number and we will call you back. I told her(human operator) my phone number, she said they will call me back. Two days later no one called. So here I am stranded. Luckily a salvage transmission only costs $350, but the labour is $800 plus coolant flush $200, plus atf fluid $120, Plus reprogram $140 plus tax $200. All in all I was quoted $1800 by an independent transmission shop. The car also came with a safety inspection and certificate that its safe! How did their mechanic miss the noise when he test drove it? This mechanic shouldnt have his license and these people should be liable to pay fines!! To add to this, the sales man Seid was very *** was shaming me for making him miss his lunch when I was signing paperwork on his lemon car. I said youre selling a car and you cant wait 30mins. He said youre too slow, everyone buys my cars fast. During the test drive I pointed out the impossible to miss noise, from which he said which noise, I dont hear anything. I want to somehow get word out about these shady scammers. Their dealership is not even on google, only their mechanic shops are, looloo(poopoo) auto service, and Auto Moto Milton Auto service. They had to remove their dealership from google due to low ratings lmao.. these people should not be in business in a first world country!

User's recommendation: Avoid these criminals! They don’t care if you’re an Uber driver! They don’t care about safety!
