AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe, Centennial, CO Tried to Rip Me Off

This is 1 star performance is dedicated to Audrey Gent - Service Advisor and to Jake Richards - Technician - License #6528. Yelp should have a zero stars or a garbage can symbol like this: []] []] []] []] []]. AutoNation Subaru gets 5 Garbage cans today. I went in today for the recall campaign to fix the rear seatbelt. I was promised a one hour stay. My appointment that was made ahead of time was for 1pm. I left at 3:42pm. In addition to the recall, I asked about my rear brakes. Audrey notified me that the brake pads needed to be replaced 299$ and the rear (L) strut was leaking. Also, my oil filter was leaking, (I just had the oil changed 2 days ago) and the Differential Fluid was "very dirty" and needed to be drained and replaced. The fluid, which needed to be changed at 15000 miles, would cost 345$ and the struts would be 1060$ because both needed to be changed. I was last in to Subaru Arapahoe 7000 miles ago and was never told or warned about the "differential fluid". I asked Audrey about this. She dismissed me by saying, " I don't have an answer for you sir". I asked if she could check with the technician. After several minutes, I found she had NOT checked with a technician, and decided to pull my records. I asked why the differential fluid had been marked "okay" at my 28000 mile visit and 38000 mile visit if supposedly this fluid was in need of change at 15000 miles. She rudely raised her voice and said "Sir! You refused the 22,500 mile service and the 30,000 mile service and the 45,000 mile service". I said, "I did refuse it, but what does that have to do with the checkmark stating it was okay..." She interrupts even louder, "Sir!! You refused ...." I nodded and let her know that our conversation was over. I went over to Econo Lube N Tune who originally did our oil change two days ago. They apologized for the leak and said they would replace it with a premium Subaru filter for free. They also checked the alleged leaky strut and said it was "dirty and dust" that accumulates over time. They even checked the Subaru Recommended Maintenance directly from the Subaru website. It states that the Struts don't even needed inspection until 60000 miles and the differential fluid doesn't need to be inspected until 120000. I saved myself 1200 dollars today by getting a second opinion. I recommend you do the same. Did I forget to mention at my 38000 mile check, these same idiots gave me an oil change and then decided to rotate my tires. Well anyone that knows tires knows that the place that you bought them is supposed to maintain that rotation. I should have learned my lesson then. AUDREY GENT and JAKE RICHARDS - LICENSE NUMBER 6528, you GET 5 GARBAGE CANS! Well done.

Auto Center is a piece of ***

Auto Center is the worst car dealership is St. Louis!!! DO NOT go to this place!! They will take your money. I deposited $2500 for an SUV and the contract did not go through because of many reasons too long to list. Now the dealership refuses to give back the money I deposit. Everytime I went to the dealership to try to get it resolve, everyone there including the managers will ignore me and tell me to leave! They want to act all nice and helpful when you're looking to buy, but once there's a problem they want nothing to do with it and act like a total *** towards you!!! DO NOT GO to AUTO CENTER!!!! I repeat DO NOT GO to AUTO CENTER!!!!
