I have spent over eight months trying to get a quality book published and each time it was one excuse after another. Eventually when the supposedly publication consultant said that the quality issues was related to the image quality, I decided I had enough. The images were all 300 DPI and above and looked great in the proofs they sent, but awful in the printed book. They have no idea what they are doing, will take several days to respond to you...

I used authorhouse and all sounds good in the sales pitch, but then the philapinos do the work and they suck at it. I paid then for a book service and to add in photos that I sent in. It does state on their web sight they do Custom Image Works. They couldn't even do that right. I taught myself how to do their job. I lost thousands of dollars and one year and 5 months of pure aggervation. I made my books even the book covers through Zazzle.com by...

Avoid at all cost. Author died suddenly, and coercive tactics used to attempt to avoid refund. Despicable and abhorrent.

I used authorhouse to publish my book REG a science fiction story. Despite extensive costs and advertising , I only received a matter of pence in quarter royalties. I realise now that I have been taken for a ride. Richard Groves richardgroves2016@outlook.com

Authorhouse published my book when they were called FirstBooks. They have been selling my book and I have not seen a dime in over ten years. They claim they have no record of sales. However I just bought four copies online today from used book sellers so I know my books are being sold by someone and it is not me. I never get my books from Authorhouse any more. I get them secondhand online for less than what the publisher sells them to me for....

I published my first book with Authorhouse and found them to be quite unreliable. They changed my agent every three months, either because someone quit or maybe they just rotate the workers quarterly. I was rushed to get my material in but when I got the proofs, there were so many mistakes it looked as though I didn't read my own writings. At times words were smashed together, content that I had written was omitted, and the type Os many tiny...

I decided to promote my book in an online movie trailer after repeated calls from the company that it was very important to promote my book although my money was very tight I chose to do this program. The day after it was paid for I got a phone call from another sales person saying how wonderful my book was and pushed me hard in trying to sell me the Hollywood treatment. I finally agreed against my better judgment, and late on Friday, December...

Dear Author House My name is Jean Gasho. It's over 3 years since I paid almost £3000 to publish my book Napolia:Zuza and The Lost Princess. Upto now I have never recieved a penny from that book even though sales were made. Still the sales that were made will never give me back the £3000 that I paid. This book was my hard work. I put my heart and soul into it. It was my dream. And there is not a single day that goes by that I don't regret...

AuthorHouse, LLC has committed fraud. The fraud case is clearly outlined below. I, Dr. Calvin B. Ross did sign a self-publishing services agreement with AuthorHouse, LLC to publish my book Back Help on April 2, 2015. AuthorHouse has failed to publish the book as agreed. Following many delays AuthorHouse committed to have the book finally published by September 15, 2016. AuthorHouse said this is the best time to publish a book just before the...

I published my book a few months ago and was not happy. I received a million calls. Even when I asked for sometime to think about my layout. I felt harrassed and overwhelmed. When asked to sign off on my book. They sent pricing in the same email. Then emailed me back and said I agreed to the price. When clearly in my email it approve the book editing and pictures not pricing. I tried to fix the price and was given the run around and was asked to...
