Australian Auto Care - Car Service Review from Williamstown, Victoria County
- - Tow charged 55, then 65 for diagnosis.
- - Installed second-hand distributor bought elsewhere; billed 266; car still won't run.
My car stopped mechanic organised a tow for 55.00 then charged me 65.00, for him to diagnose the problem, unscrew 4 bolts on the distributer and put second hand one that i bought else where for 250.00, charging me 266.00 and the car doesnt run, he said not his problem it came in and wouldnt start and its starting, well how about checking the points , suppose to be a mechanic, what did i pay 266.00 for. He was trying to charge me 350.00 for distributor and 2 wks guarentee, i got 3 mths with my part.
H was pissed bcos i bought my part, no matk up for him. I have booked it in else where bcos he is incompetant.
