Shoes ruined, money lost
I'd give zero stars if possible. I paid over 300 EUROS for a pair of shoes this facility completely ruined. If you value your shoes, do NOT take them here. They also held significant memories, these were my only souvenir from a trip of a lifetime. I once looked at my only souvenir and remembered a great trip, I now look at them and am angry and remember that someone couldn't read their own handwriting and ruined my shoes and wouldn't refund me the entire value of the shoes. I bought these shoes specifically for the color, a gorgeous light brown leather which was destroyed and dyed over black. The service was not good either and there was nothing but an argument when the error was pointed out. When the shoes were picked up and the error was pointed out, they argued about dying them black at pickup. I called and explained again what they did, they agreed to take them back and fix them as "someone misread their handwriting on the ticket" and return them to their original state. Not only did they not do this, it took them over SIX MONTHS to return them damaged. They also forgot about them when asked for a progress update. I have had to wait over SIX months for my shoes to be returned completely RUINED. This was supposed to be a surprise. Having a scratch blended out of my right shoe and polished up was supposed to be a christmas surprise. My boyfriend dropped them off and wanted the damage removed, or buffed out from the right shoe. Much to his surprise, they were dye black when he went to pick them up. He tried to explain to the person they weren't supposed to be black, and the person wouldn't do anything. He came home to let me know upset that it now wasn't a surprise and my shoes were completely ruined but the people at the store were perplexed as to why this was a problem. I then had to call, and explain again my shoes were ruined. Because someone couldn't read their own handwriting, they dyed them black, instead of blend out the damage. Black does not equal blend. Six months go by, and they "forgot" about them (their words) when calling and asking for an update. I used to have a pair of shoes I loved. They have been replaced by a pair of shoes I hate, and I have no way to get back to Italy and replace them even if the company would do the right thing and replace the value of the loss. This has been a terrible customer experience - from technical execution to service. My shoes were not only ruined, but they were returned damaged. The damage is as follows: - Color completely ruined and dyed over. 100% Italian Leather cheaply dyed black - A large hole was punctured into the zipper of the right shoe with a large safety pin. 100% Italian Leather - There is more scuffing on the right toe then they went in with If you value your shoes, do NOT bring them here. If you value good service, don't come here.
