I was trying to order a broken part for my Native Slayer. I've emailed and called the voicemail repeatedly because I've received no response.
I'm just trying to find out how to order the part, or get an email address to deal with Native directly. Gracie told me to look on the Native website, the Native website says contact your dealer. Again, this is circular. Jonah picks up the phone using profanity (f-bombs) and yells telling me not to call again.
Weak stick and unprofessional. Be warned.

Bait & Switch. Horrid Customer Service.
I ordered a pfd several days ago and had heard nothing from them.
Called to find out what was going on and was told that, even though it showed as in stock, the pfd that I had ordered was not in stock when I ordered it. After a long conversation about my frustration and his lack of caring, I canceled my order.
I immediately went to their site and found that they are still showing it as in stock, even though they don’t have it. I was offered nothing for my frustration.
No discount code. No nothing.
I have no confidence in this seller and will never order anything else.
As far as the (no)customer service rep., I hope they record their calls and that someone in charge listens to the recording. This guy needs to find another line of work.
Terrible Customer Service and NO Communication
Ordered a Kaku Voodoo Fishing SUP and paddle from Austin Kayak a week ago and after 6 days the order status was pending. Had to call them 3 separate times and finally, after waiting 45 minutes, got someone on the line.
They said they were waiting to receive the paddle I ordered before shipping the order. I told them I ordered that specific paddle b/c they had 2 in stock.
So, their website is misleading and the customer service clown was extremely defensive and rude - told them to cancel my order immmediatey (which they actually did). Will never order anything from this company again.

would think twice before buying anything from these guys. At first glance this company has very competitive pricing, but if you live out of state ( I live in Florida) I would urge you to think twice before ordering from these guys.
On 7/6/18 I ordered a big fish 120 from these guys, the order when through without a hitch, about an hour later I get an e-mail stating the kayak is on back order, fine I can deal with that but why does it take me having to call them wait on hold etc. before I can actually get an answer to what's going on with my order.
My kayak arrives on 7/24/18 I unwrap it, look over the kayak and I don't see any visible damage or anything that looks out of the ordinary. I take the kayak out for the 1st time on 7/28/18 and about a mile or two into our trip my kayak starts taking on A LOT! of water. My friend and I stop and drain what seems to be a half full of water kayak. I thought it must be the drain plug, so we drain it and tighten the plug and headed back to where our cars were. We had to stop 2 more times because the water was coming in so bad the kayak was actually listing to one side and it was a mere inch or so from the water coming over the sides.
But yet again I'm here today having to call these people and wait on hold and explain the situation over again. I'm sure they will rectify the situation in the end (or I could always just dispute this with my credit card company) either way I'm sure it will get handled but I would urge you if you don't live within driving distance from these people, just spend the extra money locally y ld me he would forward the necessary paperwork to have another one shipped out to me, I'm cool with that!! It was the 28th of July and I had a non refundable trip coming up on the 4th of Aug. I did not receive the new kayak, nor did I receive any information on what's going on with my replacement...I spoke with the rep at 3 waters who makes my kayak. The rep who deals directly with warranty problems and the 1st thing he said was "oh you got it from Austin Kayaks? sounded like a sigh" He stated he would have had no problem sending me out another kayak, that same day as a matter of fact. I should be enjoying the $1000.00 plus dollars I spent on a kayak and showing pictures from my trip but all I have is a kayak I wouldn't even stick in my pool, a credit card balance for a broken kayak and I'm also negative $300.00 for the trip I was not able to take because they sent me the Titanic!!!!!!!!!
But yet again Im here today having to call these people and wait on hold and explain the situation over again. Im sure they will rectify the situation in the end (or I could always just dispute this with my credit card company) either way Im sure it will get handled but I would urge you if you don't live within driving distance from these people, just spend the extra money locally. New kayak full of damages
Austin Kayak customer service agent was a very poor negotiators over a very bad damaged ( deep scratches) and very dirty brand new Blue Sky 360 ($ 3, 600). I ask for $500 store credit and they declined it.
The store credit would have bee less for them. Is going to cost them at least $400 for the exchange, and on top of it they will not be able to sell that boat. Now I have to wait for them to pick this one and send me a new one. Who knows how long it will be, it has been a week already.
NOT SMART BUSINESS PRACTICE. This is a boat that just came out , and probably the first one with me in Miami Florida.

Got return malone seawing kayak carrier
got a order from Austin kayak that the box looked liked it was in a wreck. on the out side was a return order # and on the inside was a paper with the same return # that was on the outside of the box!
the box looked like it had about 10 yards of tape on it. what was really interesting was that my receipt for my order was also on the inside of the box! bolts were falling out of the box as I carried it in the house! called and they said that this was a accident that it was shipped to me!!
really!! opened up after receiving and putting my receipt inside and then my mailing address on the box with a return number on the outside of the box. you can order from them but good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now I have to repack and go through the trouble with fex ex to return and get my money back. so some poor guy is waiting for his refund but I have his return!
Could be better
Placed an order through ACK as they had amazing deals you could bundle for kayaks. On their website they state "If it's in stock it ships tomorrow", which is a bunch of bs.
I ordered the kayak, accessories on a Friday and the items never got shipped out until Wednesday, and that was because I kept calling them. When you try to contact them you have to wait on the phone for a couple of minutes before someone even answers. You e-mail them and you don't get a response until the next day. I am currently still waiting for the kayak as they use Estes Express shipping, which I don't understand because Estes Express is a horrible company as well.
The tracking they provide is useless, was told the kayak should be here in 1 week and I am now told it will be a few days yet.
After reading others review of damaged kayaks I am concerned because I haven't even received mine. I also had asked the customer service rep if they could expedite the shipping and they told me no, because it's freight delivery which is a bunch of bs as well because Estes Express offers expedited shipping.

Bait and switch at it's worst
Ordered a Kayak and accessories. The kayak was price matched using their system.
All the prices were correct and the total was correct. I placed the order and received an email with the correct prices and order #50175**** My credit card was billed instead at full price $118 more. I called and they said they did not and could not price match but still took the order. They wasted my time and I cancelled the order.
I followed their exact procedures for price match and throughout the process they matched the price and in the final price they showed that they marched the price but in fact they did not. Why would they accept an order and then bill at a higher price. This is the worst case of bait and switch.
Why would anyone buy from them. They are a bunch of crooks

Next day was told item had been bought within "a few minutes" of my order being placed. Quite frankly, anything is possible but in this instance I have my doubts. I was told I could cancel my order. I said I don't want to cancel, I want item.
Was I given a a discount on a the item I had to repurchase...NO! Not good customer service or good business practice.
Either keep website up to date OR if a mistake is made, offer the customer a discount on the new item as they will definitely have to pay more for it! After shopping here for years, we are VERY disappointed and will not shop here again.

I purchased a Yeti 20 oz lid online through AustinKayak.com and through the entire checkout process it said it was available. Once I received my confirmation e-mail it said it was on backorder for 1-2 weeks and I would receive an e-mail when it ships, so I thought no big deal I don't need it right this minute.
2.5 weeks later no e-mail, so I call them to see what is going on because Yeti has the lids back in stock, so AKC should too, well they tell me they don't have them and I ask if they have contacted Yeti as to when they will get them and they just said no and they are expecting them any day, so I wait. A month has gone by and I look at AKC's website and it says they have the lids and if you order them they will ship the following day, so I call the next day and ask what is going on with my order, the girl looks up my order, places me on hold, comes back and says they have enough lids to fulfill my order and I should get a confirmation e-mail today or tomorrow, so I confirm I will get me lid in the next few days and she says yes. 2 days pass and I get an e-mail from AKC and I think it is the one I am waiting on, nope it states I have to update my payment info, since it is past 30 days! Are you freaking kidding me that *** girl didn't say anything about it when I spoke to her on Monday.
So I call and update it and again ask when I will get my lid, they tell me they are now out of lids, the people that called on Monday to update their payment info then all got them. Well I wasn't told about it when I called in to ask about my order on MONDAY. I am so furious at this point I could start a screaming match with this guy, but I know it won't get me anywhere because these people don't care, they just don't seem to care about much of anything. They don't communicate with you about anything at all, I have had to call each time and they are so blaise about everything, no one their communicates with each other, they could have put a note in my file saying it need payment info updated, so I could have had that done on the Monday I called in so I could have gotten the lid with the shipment they received instead of them being out of them.
what is the point of my updating my payment info if they are out of lids anyway?
O- they may have an order in tomorrow, but it may or may not be there! What kind of company says stuff like that?
