Apparently, after applying for an extension on a home loan to repair the property, there is a caveat on my property in my ex-partner's name with a $12,000 estimated over a 7-year period, with the property unoccupied for at least 3 of those years. They were told to disconnect but claimed they couldn't get in.
The last time they decided to disconnect, they went through a neighbor's property, so they could have disconnected it back then. They won't supply or tell me any info about the caveat and are seeking legal advice. I can't locate the ex.
