my daughter and i purchased 2010 volkswagon Tiguan.had about 64000 miles. engine blew after 5 months.

had purchased extended warranty. a month of dickering back and forth between dealer and warranty they finally decide to fix. meantime my daughter has lost her job while they went back and forth. did finally provide her with a car for a few days but she already lost her job.

then after putting another engine in with 68000 miles on said it maxxed her 6100 dollar 3 year warranty limit and want to charge her an extra 289 dollars before she can pick it up. The dealership blames the warranty people and the warranty people blame the dealership. This is just plain criminal. I recommended she buy local so its partly my fault but to have her whole warranty be blown and be demanded more money on a replacement engine with 68000 miles is shameful.

she has until tomorrow to turn in her loaner and come up with the money. We will get it paid but wanted someone from higher up to read this hopefully someone does and has some compassion
