Initial set-up difficulties

I think I have hooked up your A2 speakers correctly, but the only sound I get is from the O/E internal TV speakers. Need someone to walk me through the set-up or diagnose what I did wrong.

Thanks,

Severe lack of customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

They do not respond to emails at all. Product sits broken with no repair or parts replacement.

Do not buy any products from them as they never respond to any emails for repair or parts requests to get their piece of *** speakers working.

Reconditioned A5's Have Stopped Working

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

As a faithful Audioengine repeat customer, I was simply astonished when my recently purchased 'reconditioned' A5's gave up the ghost last night!! They've sat on our bookcase since purchase 11/22/22, working fine.

Then failure? My disappointment stems from the fact that new A2's purchased several years ago had to be returned/exchanged! They're still working fine - so far.

I'd like to return these, and purchase a NEW pair of A5's. Please assist me with this request.

Regards,

Warren Clark

Questions

I have an orange light instead of blue. What does that mean? Does this interfere with my blue tooth signal?

Connecting AE 5+ to AE S8.

Have attached both, but no sound. Does the S8 need to have the AC 110 plugged in?

If yes, could you please send me the AC 110 patch cord? Richard Sadler, 24055 Paseo del Lago West, #461, Laguna Woods, CA 92637.

Very poor service

Updated by user Oct 28, 2019

Audioengine received my review but never made the slightest attempt to redress my grievance and never contacted me or answered my e-mail. The product design is very bad and bound to cause the problem I have experienced.

Original review Sep 28, 2019

I live overseas and own a surround-sound audio system including front, center and surround speakers. The local distributor for Audioengine sold me a wireless transmission and amplification system for my surround speakers that included the Audioengine W3 wireless audio transmitter and receiver.

He charged me almost twice the U.S. price for this item. The neck sleeve between the USB connector and the body of the wireless audio receiver became torn, the wires were exposed, and the contact became intermittent, which messed up the reception. The distributor refused to replace the receiver for me, claiming that his supplier would not replace it for him. However, his supplier is none other than himself, as he is also the importer.

I e-mailed Audioengine Support.

They opened a case number but did nothing and ignored my subsequent messages. I then e-mailed Dave Evans, the Audioengine CEO, but he did not even bother to reply.
