Rude and obnoxious to sellers. Ask them to at least take a picture of what is selling, and they think if you take a shot of a chandelier in a brown box, tangled up, that is all that is expected of them.
Have bought a lot of items there and sold quite a few, but will never darken their doorway again. If a new owner appeared, I would be back as there are many items of interest to purchase .Don't just walk away from them---RUN

Questionable business practices
Be VERY careful both in buying and selling from the Coeur d'Alene Auction Depot. When buying, pay very close attention to description and details, as they knowingly take minimal and bad photographs and include next to nothing in their descriptions.
They have twice sold fake Rolex watches for over $1000 as "unknown authenticity" even after I told them that I collect watches and the ones they had for sale were fake. They also sell other known reproduction Rolex watches which is illegal. The Rolex is just an example of other less than ideal selling approaches. And when they say as-is, assume what you are buying is junk!
I bought 6 Beyond Bright garage lights As-Is and not a single one worked. That's $80 down the drain.
Not illegal, but incredibly unprofessional. I also tried selling with them once, and the pictures were terrible and several of the descriptions I asked them to use were not used and ones they wrote were not right and misspelled.

These people are rude obnoxious they dont care if your things are stolen they say oh well dont what to tell you. They steal items from people and sell them selves
I was told things that were rude turned down my items that sold elsewhere for a lot of money. Its all family.
They are all family owned and think they are the bees knees. They are loosing long time sellers, due to the fact that they are stealing personal items , rude, unprofessional, really weird bunch of Idahoans. Then what do you expect f rom a one branch family, from Idaho.
Consider the source they only care about one thing and that MONEY not helping people. They don't care if someone steals your items I told them my items are gone and stolen and they said "Oh well don't know what to tell you!!!!Really b bottomdont take your items there you will regret it line they are negative, not nice and very mean
