Faulty rebuilt marine engines
Not one word
The 2nd 1 came and we pulled the engine out of the boat and rebuilt it with the new rebuilt block and it was bleeding fluid in the yard When it was reassembled we were told to take it apart and fix it. We did that and then put it in the boat where immediately a lifter failed not once but twice.
I have spent over $10000 getting this boat in-and-out of the water the engine being called out twice and the death being pulled out to have these faulty engines in my Vote they gave me $840 for the 1st engine warranty they only paid $50 for labor and my shop charges 15 You have to pull the boat out of the water it has to sit and dry dock and then get repaired and this figure it's just not good enough and now they are not receiving my calls or acknowledging my emails Stay away
Preferred solution: Financial compensation of the 31 hours that this engine originally lasted 20 was used to break in the engine. The replacement engine lasted 5 minutes the first failure and about 5 minutes the second failure. Not really quite sure if this engine will last.
