Quick response to my problem and solved it
Called customer service I could not find a part for my Athlon scope - sunshade part number 213022 S was on back order . Bella A told me this part was not available at the time, and she would ship one out as soon as it became available she stood to her word, and to my surprise it arrived A reasonable time later because of their service, I would recommend them to all and I feel confident that this is their policy of action I highly recommend Athlon scopes MIKE S Myrtle Beach sc thank you Bella A

Problem with a new 2 x12x44 scope
I Sent in a complaint about a new 2x12x44mm Athlon scope that was purchased before Christmas of 2024. I was going to bore sight it yesterday but the ele action and wi date turrets would not turn at all in either direction.
The yardage and light switch work fine . The other 2 turrets are not moving at all.
Need some direction, I took the caps off and all looks fine but no movement at all. I bought this through Optic Planet for 429 dollars.

I've involved the Better Business Bureau in this matter.
Chuck the warranty and customer service manager at Athlon Optics would not repair nor replace a defective Athlon Cronus BTR scope that was defective straight out of the box. He told me it's normal for some Athlon Cronus BTR scopes to have seemingly defective illuminated reticles where only half of one side of the reticle Illuminates normally while the other half is noticeably dimmer and that's how they get them from the manufacture so he doesn't consider them to be defective. He also said if I have any problem with Athlon not honoring my defective Illuminated reticle warranty then go and buy their Midas Tac instead so there's zero problems since they don't have Illumination anyways. REALLY.
I also brought up my frustrations not being able to successfully buy a matching genuine Athlon Cronus BTR sunshade that fits or that actually matches the color of the scope either and Chuck said they don't buy the sunshades from the same place that manufactures the scope but from a much cheaper source and for me to go and buy the Nightforce brand sunshade for my Athlon Cronus BTR scopes if I want them to match and fit perfectly because their Athlon Cronus BTRs are made at the same factory as Nightforce.
I own two of the Athlon Cronus BTR scopes and one is definitely defective while the other Cronus BTR scope's Illumination works perfectly.
Think twice before buying anything from Athlon Optics. Based on my own first hand experience they wouldn't honor their own warranty for a defective Cronus BTR straight out of the box. It wasn't cheap either and they usually sell for $1699.99-$1799.99 apiece and I bought TWO of them and ONE'S definitely defective.
I spent a ridiculous amount of money buying more than 30 Athlon scopes and really regret trusting this brand after getting screwed over by Chuck and Athlon Optics like this.
Should have switched to VORTEX a long time ago so none of this ATHLON OPTICS B.S. about not honoring their warranty.
Chuck at Athlon Optics is an extremely terrible representative of Athlon Optics and shouldn't be in the customer service industry at all. He must be somehow related to the owner in order to be still in that position and treat his customers like crap. I'm not the only Athlon customer that Chuck *** on and screwed over either.
