Drug abuse

Atco gas was in my neighbourhood doing some work. They had a loud white red truck working with them. The company on the truck said Hydrodig Edmonton. The workers were sitting in the truck smoming marijuana and i could smell it in my backyard. I peaked over the fence and seen the smoke blow out the window of the drivers seat My daughtet was playing in the back yard at the time and the smoke even entered my house thru the kitchen window. I should have called the police, but they left quickly after that.

Inguiry about new service to acreage

Had made many calls to see who was the Provider for Natural gas to acreage I just purchased in the Ponoka area. Was told by many other service provider that ATco Gas is who I need to contact for set up. When I called the female said we are the Distributor, not the provider for hook up or billing. I asked then who do I talk to , to get service set up for when I move,. She again , again, again said the same thing and was clueless on what I requested and no help at all. So frustrated on the poorly communication that was done, I had to hang up and cannot do crazy.

Service techs have NO respect or courtesy

I was sworn at recently by a tech who placed unmarked flagging that I removed from my property. It was not labelled and therefor I did not know who placed them there. He was so rude, swearing and telling me I would be billed for his work that I undid. Our last house, the service techs were rude and disrespectful of private property. They think they have the right to do whatever they please on your property and then treat you like garbage. Over 15 years of using this company, horrible service technicians has motivated us to look at investing in alternatives to natural gas.

I have prepaid my gas usage for months to come. Atco gas (readings) and Direct Energy (billing) found a way to adjust my Summer gas usage to the monney they have in hands. None of them can justify the high gas usage they have charged when my heating system is off since April and there is no new appliance added to my place. Worse of that, they did not come to my place to read the meter because of my dog, I NEVER HAD A DOG IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. When I call for help, it comes from the Phillipines.

Direct energy cut my gas .. they tagged it as non pay when in fact I did pay partial payment.

And then I argue with them and forced to pay another 193.

Then I'm told to call Atco to reconnect and am told 281 and we can do same day or I'm forced to wait for four days and pay 120... BEC they are soooo busy...
