Verified ReviewerScam in progress by Assure Protections Ltd
- - The caller pressured my mother about a washing machine warranty.
- - They offered discounts and £19.99/month after payment issues and there was no paperwork.
The above company cold called my vulnerable mother who had been out of hospital for one week. The person who called did not say where they were calling from, only that they were calling about her washing machine warranty.
My mother advised she had only recently been discharged from hospital and would need to speak to her sons, but the caller persisted saying things like "don't you want to be covered" and "the costs are coming down from £99 to £75 so it's cheaper". When payment didn't go through they then rang her back saying that payment didn't clear and they could move her to paying £19.99 per month, when my mother said again she would need to speak to her sons she was asked again "don't you want to be covered" to which she replied "well yes" which seems to have been taken as agreement to proceed. No paperwork has been received from the company and when I spoke to Mark the following day he did confirm it was them that called my mother.
I have raised a complaint on 28th September but as of yet no acknowledgement has been received of this.
Their website claims scammers are calling claiming to be them, it is them who call! And they respond to all negative reviews saying that it is not them who call, but I have confirmation from Mark it is!

Verified ReviewerHave Assure card protection for my Lane Bryant card.
- - Ladder fall; can't walk.
- - Filed a claim; balance $35; two supervisors said it would be paid, but nothing after 2 months; late fees accrue.
Fell off a ladder about 10' and can't walk now due to injury. Got a claim started with them since they're supposed to make the payments on card due to not able to work.
Was told by 2 different benefit supervisors since the balance was only $35 They'll probably just pay it off. Offered to send paperwork to prove injury and was told probably not necessary. Nothing has happened in almost 2mths now and late fees and interest keep accruing on this measly balance that I couldn't pay due to no income. Keep getting the runaround with them.
After 2 mths they sent a benefit form for Dr to fill out and the Drs reports I've uploaded to them have more info than what they're asking for on this.
When this is done, I'm canceling service. Had this card a long time but I'm not going to put up with being scammed!
- Card protection is a good thing
- But not when they collect and dont pay

Why do you keep calling only to say youve got no one available to speak to me. Absolutely ridiculous.
Please stop calling.
If I want to speak to you I will call you. Not that I will.
Just STOP CALLING ME.

Verified ReviewerScam to sell policy
- - Charged £195 by pretending to be my insurer.
- - I reported fraud after seeing their name on my bank statement, and they called again.
This company got hold of all the details on my protection on my washing machine and conned me int paying then £195 by pretending to be my current insurer. When I saw their name in my bank statement.
I reported the transaction as fraudulent.
They called me twice more trying to sell me the same policy and when I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that they would investigate the issue and I should have called as soon as I received the policy documents, what documents as I have received nothing. Then my bank paid them, I phoned again and was told they will not refund me because I had reported the transaction as fraud and the bank had found in their favour.
Avoid at all costs, if this is how they scam you inti buying a policy, I can not imagine what would happen if you tried to claim.
