I canceled my ASPEN membership in 2019. I logged onto my checking account today and my account was in the negative.

Not only did they lose my original cancellation paperwork the manager no longer works there and they are refusing to refund my money AND I had to go back and cancel my membership for the 2nd time. When I tried getting my money back the lady was extremely nasty to me and they are refusing to credit my account 48.00.

Nevermind the fact they have been collecting a monthly payment from me for 2 years and I havent even used the gym since 2019. NOT HAPPY!!!

We have been members of Aspen Fitness Club in Des Moines, Iowa for over 30 years. The club's original owner was a fantastic Jewish guy who ran this club like it was your own home.

Iowa's previous governor used to come there for tennis. Everyone was nice. Well, a few years ago, the club was sold to new owners who immediately turned this nice place into a meat market filled with fake and ignorant salesmen who called themselves as "Trainers". Soon, it became obvious that these GREEDY BLOOD SUCKERS' sole objective was to poke holes in the wallets, talk down to customers, treat their own employees very poorly.

Then, it was discovered that another huge fitness and tennis club will be opening its doors as early as June, 2014 only a few blocks away!

The pot of their sins is about to be burst open and a huge number of members are expected to boycott this "Once-supercocky-joint-turned-to-a brown nosing-loser" and join the brand new facility. There is much more but I am sure that people will think twice before putting their hard earned dollars into a rotten old joint that starves and beats the cow and expects it to give them milk and butter.
