When my order was to be delivered it was left in the rain on my driveway. Never was it told to me I would not have any help bringing it in. The sofa was damaged on the bottom side of it and the delivery persons dragged it on my driveway. This causing even more damage....

Delivery issue

The item was delivered to the wrong house, then when they were delivered to the right place it was left in the rain on my driveway. I called customer care not once but twice and was told well thats free delivery the first time. Oh and I would pay 25% restocking fee. So on the second call the gentleman if I should even call him that. Kept cutting me off VERY rude, he even called me a LIAR. I am disgusted in the way your company feels they can treat myself and others. I have bought from you before and have never been treated so rudely. I would never recommend This company again

they fixed a couch that was suppose to be NEW !!! to me it was a used one like i said before shame on them I wouldn't ever get anything from Ashley again I deserve an apology and discount from them for lying to us saying we will give you a new couch !!!!! this are the pictures before and after the repairs

we went to the store 2 times sense we got the couch talk with 2 different people about our problem one when he saw the pictures told me you are getting a new couch !!! after talking with the sales person that I saw before we can't do anything we have to contact the costumer service and send the pictures and see what they say to me this is all *** I want this returned

After many phone calls there was no resolution. They refused to let me speak to a manager.

They offered to replace it as it appeared to be used but didnt accept the fact that it was a different color than online (yellowish versus reddish - very different).

IN the end we were charged a restocking fee over $300. Crooks.

We went to multiple stores to see the product but was sold out in store. We reluctantly agreed to order online sight unseen. It arrives - took longer than they said (several weeks to get to a store 150 km away) - and the package has clearly been opened multiple times. Ripped trashed cardboard, pieces missing, broken up styrofoam, plastic torn, multiple layers of packing tape stuck and unstuck, and the color is no where even close to what is shown on line in the close up. Missing pieces and duplicate pieces. Screw holes are rough and cracked. Live chat online is also rubbish and give incorrect info. First and last time shopping here.

Resolved: Astounded by the gaul of the manager

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. no apology, no recognition of all my wasted time.

Approached manager again, long calm chat, he finally approved the return and 100% refund. What stands out was his first attempt was to get 10% even though their error and inability to provide the chair we originally wanted.

Then the bureaucracy starts, district manager has to sign off (took a week), then goes to head office, someone has to approve/process ( another week), their customer service line is of no help. Finally authorization to return comes in, so take furniture to the warehouse. 10 days later no refund to my credit card.

Repeated calls to customer service, they don't know why refund not processed, flags to their accounting dept., TA DA - finally done. SO six weeks and numerous calls, holds etc to get this done from the date I received the wrong product.Totally unacceptable, stressful , waste of my time.WILL NEVER ENTER THEIR STORE AGAIN.

Ordered a set of chairs, picked up at warehouse, then discovered the wrong chairs had been ordered. Sales associate agree she had made an error. Now find out cannot order the correct chairs as are not sold separate from the table. Could not find a suitable chair that could be sold separate. Manager stated we must pay a 10% restocking fee. When you order you are signing a contract that does nothing to protect you in any way. Once they have your money, good luck.

User's recommendation: Just avoid them, there are other companies, local long term business in your area are most likely to care about their reputation.

Misrepresentation that the store promising to deliver a product when they know it is not possible

As under the consumer protection act under the section of Misrepresentation that the store promising to deliver a product when they know it is not possible, as per the attached order we requested the bed + 2 nightstand +dresser +BEDROOM MIRROR, all the bedroom parts are the same design and color. We received on 2 Sep2020 only the bed + one nightstand, after about one week received call from the store supervisor to let me know that the second nightstand is discontinued and can not be delivered, My decision that we need all the bedroom parts same color and design we can not mix, we went to the store and meet the sales supervisor ASRAR AB to explain that we buy this bedroom set with 2 nightstands, if the second nightstand was not existed in the time of buying we aren't bought this set ,we called the Ashley customer service many times and no response for our problem ,on 23sep2020 at 2:33pm we called the Ashley Newmarket store and talk with sales person name Patrick to explain the problem and told him that we will open a complaint ,on the same day called the Ashley customer service (Guest Care ) and talk with representative ID#CC33 to tell him that we will open complaint.no response from Ashley our problem .there was a deal documented by the sales order and payment from us to Ashley by receiving the complete bedroom set not only promise , it's a deal to have 2 nightstands.

Bought a couch.May *Springs broke (NOT JUST A SPRING THE. MAIN FRAME OF SPRINGS FOR THE COUSINS TO SIT ON. . . . June .Ashley sent a technician. JULY. He took fabric off bottom off couch took pictures said ‘OH! Springs are all broken, said someone would call us. Cust. Serv. SEPT.Called they said we will have to pay for the parts, Ashley’s will pay for the labour. *My Husband TT MANAGER @ STORE * CSS was to CALL Back NEXT DAY ***We do understand. It was bought in the Missauga Clearance centre. However, when we buy a used car, we don’t look underneath to make sure the motor isn’t going to fall out.Our frustration is waiting 15/20 minutes each time to call Customer Service. When we get thru the phone clerk(s) are rude! REFUSE to put a supervisor on the phone! Repeat the dialog given (i know they are reading a script) Facepalm manger of the store {IAN}was to call back yesterday within an hour and/or his boss J. Rosa was to follow up neither call received HUGE STAFF ISSUE with this Company DEFINEITY NOT dealing with CANADIAN ASHLEY’S AGAIN! ! We have a house in Florida (Furnihed by Ashley’s) And have been VERY PLEASED with THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE & PRODUCT
