Boat over trailers rated carring capacity

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Purchased from Ashley's Boats in Opelika, Al. On 9/11/20.

for $38,500. On trip home had to tighten straps from boat to trailer 7-8 times. First trip to lake stopped and filled gas tank 42 gallons enjoyed a few hrs on lake. Loaded boat on trailer, double checked everything and drove home.

Went to unhook trailer and saw boats front had moved 2" to the right on trailer. And had damaged boats fiberglass at trailers front roller. Took boat to local authorized dealer and they say trailer is not right with not nearly enough weight on front of boat. Called Patrick Ashley explained, was told boat made it to Texas, so i must have damaged boat .

Ashley's says not paying for repairs. I did some checking and found that boat with tank of gas weights more than trailers rated carrying capacity.

This is a SAFETY HAZARD. I Have emailed Ashley's twice in 7 days with no response
