ASAP Movers SUCK

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

ASAP movers moved me last month and it was my 4th move of the year. I chose to have 3 guys because it was only $10 more an hour than 2 guys. Each of the other moves was only 2 guys. This move took 7 hours with 3 guys moving the same items as the other companies did with 2 guys. Each of the other moves were only 6 hours.

At the beginning of the move, one of the guys dropped an item on the hardwood floor creating a huge dent in the BRAND NEW floor. This then took a great deal of time to deal with that I ended up having to pay an extra hour when they didn't finish at their projected time. They collect payment while your items are still in their truck and just estimate the time it will take to unload. Then collect additional payment when they did not get done in time.

The movers took off the doors at my new place and then couldn't put one back on correctly. The other door was just left off. When they were getting close to their estimated time, they began to complain about the elliptical that I needed upstairs. Telling me that they might have to leave it there. I made it clear that that was not an option. Also, they moved my washer/ dryer and hooked them up (which was nice), but didn't do that correctly.

Oh!!!!! There is a 10% fee for using a CREDIT CARD. WTF is that about? I am a business owner and that is a complete and utter ripoff. Yes, it costs more to accept a credit card, but nowhere near 10%. That just makes me think that they want cash to pay guys under the table or not pay taxes. When we complained, we were told that an email was sent with that information when the appointment was scheduled. That email was never sent to me and the email was finally forwarded from their office during the conversation in the middle of the move. They had actually emailed THEMSELVES and not me when I scheduled the appointment.

Also, the business had absolutely no information on the moving truck!!!!!!!! When we asked to speak to the manager, the guy gave us the phone and was yelled at after the conversation for putting a customer on the phone with the manager. Isn't that what a manager is for?????

STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!!!

Asap Movers Moving Service Review from Denver, Colorado

This so-called place of business is a joke!! They have no business management training or skills, they let unlicensed drivers drive their trucks.

They rob anybody using a credit/debit card, the workers and the owners all live at the place of employment. They refuse to pay workers after they've been fired or quit.

They abuse and verbally assault their employees and make them work 20 hour shifts, with no lunches or breaks. Just ridiculous.

Over billed and deceived

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I used this company for a move from the Denver area to Colorado Springs.

I was billed hidden fees that were not revealed. This company billed me for driving to my distant location, and did not reveal this fee when I inquired on the phone.

They use confusing phrases like 'door to door' to hide the hidden charges.

They refuse to refund these fees. Their web site advertises that they serve lots of cities. What they really do, is to drive to your distant location, and then bill you for the drive time - by the hour!

In short, they acquired my business under false pretenses.

I've filed a formal complaint against them with the CO attorney general.

Perfect Moves- Not so Perfect!

NO STARS- The owner is a really horrible person. The movers arrived just as they were supposed to and did a good job getting the truck loaded although their inexperience in properly handling and wrapping furniture was OBVIOUS. None the less, they worked hard and diligently.

When they got to my house to deliver, one started unloading while the other handled the paperwork.

He informed me (as he did in the morning for the first time), that they charge 10% if I use a credit card. I told him in the morning and again in the afternoon, I had not been told that. As a business person myself, I assumed there would be no problem when I explained that to the owner. (I had asked for paperwork at the time of the reservation and it was an email confirming time and price:

"Good afternoon Susan. This is Rob with the perfect move. The details for your move are 79$ per hour portal to portal with a one time feul and mileage fee of 150. We will dispatch our moving truck about 830 and complete the load and unload thesame day barring any acts of God." That is the cut and paste of his email.

As I was telling them that I would pay by check since I could not use a credit card, the owner made them stop unloading my things unless I gave them a credit card with the 10% surcharge or went to and ATM or a bank (of course today is a bank holiday). The owner kept calling the kid and telling him things but would not call me so I had to keep calling the owner back. Rob, the person (above) who took my deposit by credit card without a mention of a surcharge apologized for forgetting to tell me and the owner still refused to allow the truck to be emptied any further. Since he was holding my belongings hostage, I gave the kid my credit card which he had to call in. The owner then said we would have to wait until he could go back to the office to take my credit card which delayed up by 45 minutes….REALLY ASAP Movers????? And what is that ASAP movers about…what really is their name?

DON"T GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT. I do feel sorry for their employees. The owner is a bully.

Not only have they scammed people in Colorado. Now there in Nebraska scamming people.

They have destroyed a disabled man's life by taking his life savings for a house they said was in perfect condition and just needed a little paint. Said everything was new and he has had to replace everything.

He went all winter with no heat. There has to be a way to nail these losers before more people are scammed and hurt.

Rob, is an alias for Bobby bardon. A 211 crew shot caller (Denver prison gang, specializing in burglary and robbery).

Bobby has a long violent rap sheet and is marriedt to Angela who is the companies second owner. Angela a proven pathological liar took over for Bobby after his extensive criminal record held the company back .
