Complain about Prof.Shao Lixin
- The professor struggles with English in class.
- He complains about students instead of guiding in class; born in China and racist toward students.
Professor Shao Lixin the teacher for Programming language. He doesn’t speak English well, he doesn’t explain well in the class.
I had a class with him. I don’t know what happened the student in the class accidentally did the wrong thing but he didn’t know what he was doing. And the teacher Shao, Lixin went to complain about that student I don’t know why. He has to explain what to do in the class but not going to complain about little thing.
You explain, of course the student will do everything. Maybe if the guy didn’t listen 3 times and than you go complain but not on the third class of lesson. He has to learn English but not telling to the people learn English.
He was born in China. He is being racist to the students.

- Class schedules fit my work hours, and ASA helped me find a local job after my bachelor's.
I had no particular issue with ASA Institute. I went there for a specific program, I completed my program and I left.
I had a good experience because i always found a class schedule to match my work schedule. everybody has a personal experience. I did not use their career service when I graduated because i had a good job at that time. What was great is that after 3 years of graduation, and after turning off the help from the career service, I was able to go back after my bachelors degree that i completed in another college.
ASA sill accepted me and helped me find a job in a local company. I thought that was great.

ASA College for Excellence is a financial fraud

This so called college will make repayment agreements with your children even while they are financially dependent on their parents. That is financial irresponsibility.
They inflate the prices of their tuitions, all based on family income.
When the student signs this contract, being told they have no other option, they get one monthly repayment amount. By the time the student is in their second semester the payment has increased another 200 dollars from the original amount.
Somewhere down the line the so called student advisors start telling the unemployed, full time student that they can not return to class if they miss a payment. Then half way through a semester the student is called by a new advisor who tells them they are on the class roster. Resulting in the student rushing to get back to class a week before mid term exams. Their credit rating and their GPA in the dumps.
My daughter's lab professor told her he was instructed/ordered to fail her. Other students have also experienced this calamity.
Unfortunately, the staff in the school is renewed every semester, leaving no proof.
Someone has to investigate this! It's reminiscent of the Wilfred Academy fiasco that defrauded thousands of students who defaulted on loans they were not aware they had for the amounts they were served.
Pissed is a understatement!

This is a link to a major lawsuit against the school and it's illegal practices. They are scheduled to start to negotiate a settlement with these students on 9/15/15.
If they do not come to an agreement this could go to court.
It is a good idea to run faraway from this school. Go to CUNY instead, a better education and much much cheaper.
