I ordered a chair on June 7 2020, Order #52638, paid US$679.15 for it (free shipping). On July 13, I received a defective chair with broken wood, chipped wood, scratched and discolored wood in multiple places. I sent the company pictures showing the defects/damage. They refused to give me a refund and said they'd send out another chair - which I did not receive until months later, and which had fewer defects but was still defective. In an email back, they even offered me a discount of 20% to keep the defective chair which I declined. Also, when I asked for a RMA and shipping label to ship the chair back, they made it extremely difficult by (1) Asking me for the measurements of the item (don't they have that?), (2) The weight of the item (I don't have a scale that can measure the weight), and (3) putting a 24-hour expiration on the shipping label when I have a job and can't make it to UPS with a large package within the 24-hour window. This is the first merchant I've dealt with that puts a 24-hour shipping expiration on their labels. I went to my credit card company to ask for intervention. Articture then lied to my credit card company that they never received the chair I shipped back so on Sept. 28, I showed proof of delivery (UPS slip) to my credit card company. My credit card company gave me a temporary credit. On Jan 13 2021 I finally received a notification of refund from Articture but for $543.32. I've asked Articture to explain the discrepancy and did not hear back for weeks. When I finally heard back, I found out they lied to me and my credit card company that they could not locate the item in their warehouse hence a partial refund! Understand this - they provided the shipping label which I used. The onus is not on me if the company is so disorganized it can't locate their own shipments. This company as you can see has a history of taking months to respond. And when they do, they lie and play games. Their game plan was to drag this out till the time period for claims with Mastercard expires. This company has a history of complaints on BBB.org as well: https://www.bbb.org/us/fl/deerfield-beach/profile/online-retailer/articture-0633-********

Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of online furniture stores that produce quality products.
