Verified ReviewerNice enough but not very neat packing in storage.
Nice people but my only complaint was the way my storage unit was loaded. There was things just thrown in and boxes loaded with heavy items at the top so that caused damage to the ones below. Some furniture had things all over it which caused damaged also.

Terrible, crooks, dishonest
Found them on Gumtree. I paid for the service and they never sent me a receipt, never delivered the service...and I lost my money.
Basically I was scummed, (or robbed) by this company. I dealt with Irini and her husband (Assaad El Mohamad) which goes by the name of Sam/Scotie/etc. They use different names for themselves and their companies.
By seen so many bad reviews, it seems they specialize in Internet scams. I did report them to the police.

Used art removals for my interstate move. Was very happy with their work.
The quote was reasonable and the service fantastic. I was asked to pay a 30% deposit in order to reserve the dates for my move. They kept me informed throughout about upcoming dates which helped me to plan my travel interstate. My items arrived in fine condition.
The removalists even obliged to carry some items upstairs and put my bed together even though I had not paid for the service. That was a bonus as it was late and had to wait until the morning for my friend to help me.
Great service! Will use again if I had to move.

The Easiest Move Ever
With short notice and busy work schedule, I had to shift my household instantly. My mind has gone BOOM at that time.

Excellent service
You purchased a second hand oven from your sister that was imported from Greece and was incompatible with the Australian standards of safety and therefore the electrician you hired refused to take any responsibility in connecting it as it was deemed unsafe. You then accused the company's driver unfairly of damaging the oven with the hope that the insurance will replace it to another one that you will be able to connect!
The evidence that the oven was delivered in the same condition it was picked up was strong. Your sister who handed over the oven to the driver was also a witness and confirmed this.

Found out that I needed to move at last minute due to my work. Was very anxious and had little time to pack to organize an interstate move and find accommodation in another state.
The staff at Art Removals and Storage was a great help, they organized storage, helped with packing up and delivered my furniture and things when I needed them. No hidden charges with their services and the pricing are superbly affordable. These guys truly mean it when they are saying – we are professionals.

Imoved from melbourne to tasmania with Art Removals, After booking them looked at there reviews ,some good some bad . i was very pleased Scott & Jamie were very helpful & extremely careful with my furniture & belongings. Only one breakage panel from cabinet which was already had acrack in it .which was photographed and expected it may break .very happy with themand would recommend them .

Lucky I only had one Item delivered after making a purchase interstate - the item was damaged in transit
After approaching the company regarding the matter, I was treated disgustingly by Irini, who tried to intimidate me and accusing me to be a liar
I have never had such unprofessional service or encountered such poor behavior
ART Removals made every attempt for my claim unbelievably hard - Irini even accused my of fraud (Really Irini )
So if you value you personal Items please think twice before using ART Removal's

Makes it hard to believe the positive ones are real customers.
I am a real customer and they made me regret my choice. Go anywhere else for your move.
Using this budget service won't save you money!
ART Removals and Storage was a bad choice as a budget mover for me. Very friendly and helpful until my money was committed and then everything changed.
Office Manager Irini argued every point to the bitter end, always winning. The company knows exactly what it can and can't do within it's contract, which is structured to be heavily in its favour.
Listen to the 1 star reviews, not the 5 star reviews if you want to know how they will exercise those favourable terms. Cut price with this company ends up being high priced in the end.

ART Removals and Storage fantastic service friendly and very helpful from the beginning to the end.
They were a great choice for me as an interstate Backloading mover. They moved us from Melbourne to Brisbane. Very friendly, helpful and very experienced.
Irini in the office was fantastic and always ready to answer yet another question. I found her to be very experienced,honest,straight forward and direct. Very professional at all times she confirmed all agreements in writing and adviced to keep all communication by e-mail so that there is no misunderstanding. Tottaly agree with that!
The Removalists were great, Sam, Arthur and Tony guys you were the best I have never experience more professional and hard working guys as these guys. You were fun to work with! a special thank you to Sam you are a fantastic stacker :).....

Let's get this very clear....I have made a request to Bpay to return my money based on no delivery of a product of service not 'mistakely' as you have put it - Conclusion - JUST WARMING UP.
I have made this claim for several reasons:
1. I made a booking with you via email on 19/9/2013 and did not receive any receipt at all for the payment - Conclusion - UNPROFESSIONAL AND LACKS ADMINISTRATION KNOWLEDGE.
2. After a week of not getting a single phone call or email, I sent you an email on the morning of 26/9/2013 of which I did not receive a response until late 27/9/2013 - Conclusion - POOR COMMUNICATION AND PRONE TO DELAYS
3. I called all your phone numbers on multiple occasions and got nothing but some guy on an answering machine - Conclusion - THE LIGHTS ARE ON BUT NO ONE IS HOME.
4. It took you 8 days and only after an email from myself, to tell me it was going to take another 10 days before you could pick anything up - that's almost 3 weeks from the deposit date - Conclusion. - FULL OF EXCUSES
After you finally made contact with me on 26/9/2013, I then asked you to return my deposit and you fed me an excuse that you had been too busy to email or call for eight days after I paid you - a condition you never suffered from before you received a deposit - Conclusion - THEY COULD NOT GIVE A *** ABOUT MY STUFF ONLY WEASELING A DEPOSIT.
What sort of confidence would this give you that you were dealing with a reputable and honest business person? Conclusion - NOT F*ING MUCH
Lets make no mistake about this, I am not asking for my money back because I paid it 'mistakenly' - Conclusion - 'IDIOCALLY' or 'MORONICALLY' MAYBE
I am asking for it back because you have provided nothing in return - you didn't even give me a receipt - Conclusion - BACKWARD AND LACKS THEORY OF MIND.
You cannot argue that I refused services as you have not provided any service - or any confidence that you could provide it - Conclusion - CUSTOMER THINKING YOU ARE A NIGERIAN SCAMMER.
Even after all this, you are unwilling to give me back my money even though you have provided absolutely nothing for it - Conclusion - THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME YOU HAVE DONE THE WRONG THING AND YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH IT.
I think you need to look at the bigger picture and think of the long term implications of taking money from people and not providing anything for it - Conclusion - IF YOU HAVEN'T GUESSED I'M A LITTLE PISSED OFF.
You need to consider that although you hide behind your Terms and Conditions, you did not provide me with anything which effectively makes you a thief - Conclusion - DICTIONARY DEFINITION SAYS THIS IS FACTUALLY TRUE.
If you were a real business person who was smart enough to do the best by everyone, including your own business, you would have paid the money back - Conclusion - THE INTERNET CAN BE HORRIBLE WHEN YOU HAVE A PISSED OFF CUSTOMER.
I think your refusal to give back the money you stole proves one thing in my mind without a doubt - my instincts were correct - you cannot be trusted - Conclusion - I THINK THIS IS SELF EXPLANATORY AND RIGHT ON THE MONEY.
God knows what could have happened if you had my stuff - Conclusion - PINBALL AT 100KM/HOUR WITH A CAMPHOR CHEST AND A TRUCK COMES TO MIND.
You may have my $88.50, but it won't be for nothing - Conclusion - I AM A VALUE SHOPPER.
How many jobs do you think $88.50 can be worth? Conclusion - I AM THINKING 20 BUT IT MIGHT END UP BEING A LOT MORE

As you are aware we have not been silent on this issue, as we have been contacted by the B-Pay services and have been informed that you have alleged that the deposit was "mistakenly" paid into the Art Removal account.
As you know you have made a false allegation to B-Pay services which has resulted in an unsuccessful attempt to claim the deposit.
You have made a booking based on a back loading service. The booking was confirmed on the 19th of Sept via way of your deposit payment of $88.50. At the time of the booking you provided me with the following instructions: "...Pick up can be anytime on the weekend or after hours the next time you can. This is from my brother's place so he needs to be home to allow pick up"
I then wrote to tell you we had a service available on the 6th of Oct to pick-up, however you refused to receive the services you booked as you indicated that the pick-up service took too long.
I did write to you to inform you that based on the specific dates you have requested for the pick-up (weekend) the 6th was the earliest date we could assist you. Refer to the email below.
The next available weekend for pick-up will be on the 6th of Oct (Sunday). I apologise that this has taken longer than you have expected, however due to your request for the pick-up to occur on a weekend we have been unable to schedule the pick-up sooner.
Unfortunately therefore the deposit you have paid cannot be refunded as you have refused the services available to you based on the booking that you have made.
Please refer to our terms and conditions regarding our cancellation policy.
As a gesture, we can offer to still pick-up and transport the item you have booked on a future date utilising the same deposit.
Please note we do still have the truck available to pick-up from the Gold Coast until the 10th of Oct. Should you wish to proceed with the service please contact the driver direct on 0418 97 ****.

Added unjust costs and took ages
A.R.T. Removals and storage, started off changing the pick up date 3 times, once when they were actually supposed to be doing my removal. Then about 3 weeks later they did it.
About 3 months after that they finally delivered my belongings, after forcing me to pay an extra $600 because of the queensland floods. They threatened to hold my items, and charge an extra $1800, plus redelivery, if I didn't pay up.
And that was all to hard for the department of fair trading. They couldn`t get A.R.T. to cooperate, and told me there was nothing else they could do.
