BEWARE OF SCAM! The owner, Sal, is misleading with his advertising and then does a "bate and switch" and forces you to pay double to get your car back. What he will do is give you a rock bottom low price of $600, which he promises will be the total amount, including parts and labor to rebuild or replace your transmission. What you don't know is by leaving your car and signing his paperwork, that the $600 is just for him to open your transmission and see what's wrong. Then when you come back to discuss the work that needs to be done, he tells you it's an ADDITIONAL $600 to complete the work because extra work and parts are needed. If you don't like the price, you still have to pay him $600 to get your car back, or $1,200 to get it repaired. I paid the $1,200 and then 2 days later, the transmission broke down & he said it would cost me an additional $800 for him to fix it. I finally told him to go to *** & I left.
