I have bought several Arrma products & love to enjoy them my family & friends but lately I’ve been having issues with the quality of products coming straight from the manufacturer to the sores.

The servo on my Senton, which I had for less than three months, went out. My Vorteks' range is only about 20 feet, and my speed controller fried instantly, like an egg, upon connecting the battery.

I recently purchased the Infraction, and on its first use, not even five minutes into runtime, my motor screws became totally dislodged from the motor. The motor was rubbing against the driver cup. This was an incredibly disappointing and upsetting time given that I had almost paid $700 with two sets of tires that I purchased! The hobby shop from which I bought it is approximately 30 minutes away from my house.

However, they don't do repairs, so I've had to drive over an hour each way to try and get repairs—what a major inconvenience! Parkflyers RC is in Lakewood, NJ, and I'm from Atlantic City, NJ. I also purchased the Granite, which I love!

Oh, and I almost forgot, I also own the 4S Kraton. I've purchased all these Arrma products in less than two months, so as you can see, I'm a RC addict!

Pros:
  • Easy to maintenance & access things easily
Cons:
  • Contacting customer service & new product failures

Preferred solution: Price reduction

User's recommendation: Make sure you know were & how far you have to go for repairs because the cost of car repairs gas & time to travel doesn’t have you paying more money & time than you would like to spend on various products because it can be costly when issues such as the one with the infraction

Broken charger

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
ARRMA RC - Broken charger

Out of the box, this product is great. I've been careful not to deliberately tear it up, but the charger failed within two weeks of owning it and I can't get help resolving the issue.

It's been a full week with no response.

I've started looking at upgrades as well. Parts are hard to come by and are expensive.

Pros:
  • Decent little truck
Cons:
  • Bad charger

Preferred solution: The truck working like it’s supposed to. It’s Not like I broke it and expect them to fix it. It’s a faulty charger.

User's recommendation: 2nd rc truck. You can get ahold of Traxxas all day everyday

Tech support

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Sold me a bad ESC and it seems nobody wants to help. The wrong number for support is listed online, and I have to jump through hoops just to get someone on the phone.

The customer service/tech support is horrible. Do better!!!

6s center diffs are not 6s capable, plastic center diff mounts melt.motor mount screws are to shallow and instantly stripped. fun to drive but not tough like arrma claims. Center diff is junk..

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Sad that they are not true 6s rigs, bought new kraton and mohave 6s same day, both of the center diffs went out the first 6s pack no joke.ran on 4s after that and the kraton center diff cooked after 11 4s packs.. under engineered, I'm not a armma hater I just wanted something halfway decent..P.s I don't bash just run on a tri oval with no jumps in my back yard.. center diffs are way over priced for how weak they are,I'll be switching back to Traxxas..

I had an esc that I bought in Feb that went out. Caused the rc car to go out of control with me having no way to control happened twice hit someone's car first time then a house the second.

And this has caused other part of the car to fail also. They refuse to cover it under warranty.

There customer service is horrible. Do not recommend

Customer service

Arrma is telling me the part to repair my brand new rc car that I just paid 500 dollars for is on back order and they can't give me a time frame on when I will get the part. I am pissed Because I am out 500 dollars on something that doesn't work and they are in no rush to resolve this issue.

I even asked how I can return it since the hobby shop will not take open returns. Arrma answer was I can ship it to there repair tech and he can try to fix it. This is crazy.

I have never had an issue like this with any other company. All I want is the part replaced that is faulty and causing my brand new car to over heat.
