Ripped off

In April of 2022, I traded a beautiful 4 door Jeep Wrangler in for a piece of junk 2019 Jeep Limited. I allowed myself to get swindled into this piece of junk, when I needed the money and believed the bag of lies fed to me at the time I made the purchase.

Fast forward to 1/17/2023, when I brought my Jeep in for servicing for a loud squeaking noise when I back up. the start/stop switch was making the vehicle stall and front tire losing air pressure. After leaving my vehicle for an entire 24 hours with no rental car offered, I was advised by the service advisor that I needed 2 motor mounts, all new tires (2 of which had been patched twice and not by me), a new battery and they would have to take the dash apart to replace the start/stop switch. I was told nothing was covered under warranty and I was looking at $3800 before tires.

I decided to pick up my vehicle with none of the suggested work being done and after a second opinion, found out I needed 1 motor mount, a new battery and soon would need new brakes and tires. My gripe is that I just purchased this vehicle not even a year ago and it should not need any of these items done so soon. So much for Arrigo's Certified Pre-Owned" BS warranty. I forgot to mention the mechanic who repaired the items needed, only charged me $400.

I have been loyal to Arrigo for years and have purchased 4 vehicles over the years. I will never go back to them for anything and surely will never recommend them to anyone!!

My Mistake Was Buying from Arrigo Sawgrass

The worst auto mistake of my life began when I purchased my brand new $70,000 RAM 2500 Limited truck from Arrigo Sawgrass back in April of 2019. Upon my purchase I went over the truck the first time I washed it. There were numerous body issues with the truck. All chrome trim had water mark stains that would not come off. This included all four rims and the window trim. There was also a 4 inch pen line on the suede headliner of the truck and the driver side pained trim piece on RAM box door was coming off. I called my sales rep and he told me, no problem, bring it in to the dealership. When I took it into Arrigo Sawgrass to start fixing these issues, thats when everything went downhill. Between Arrigo Margate and Arrigo Sawgrass they had my truck a total of 91 days. During that time I was driving Dodge Caravans, RAM 1500 and Jeep Wranglers, but mostly Dodge Caravans. When you are paying over a thousand dollars a month to drive a RAM 2500 Limited and youre driving the furthest thing from it, its a very frustrating situation. Arrigo Sawgrass scratched 3 of my doors replacing the window trim and replaced the RAM box door with a new on that was not polished after paint and was peeling from the other end. When I called in disgust they did what they always do, say sorry and bring it back in. When I brought it back in I was very specific with the Arrigo Collision Center manager. I pointed out all the scratches on the door and the RAM box door that was worse than the original one. When I picked up the truck from Arrigo Sawgrass and got it home I noticed the whole front of the truck, from the side mirrors forward, they had sprayed the whole front of the truck with clear coat. This time I was furious. All the mirrors, windows, paint and badging of the truck was covered with clear coat. The RAM box was untouched and the rims they I was so disgusted that I had to again take it back to Arrigo Sawgrass. They gave the same BS and said they would fix it. I scheduled my appointment and wanted the manager of service to be there and also the General Manager to be there. They scheduled the appointment so all could be there. When I showed up it was just me and my service contact. Arrigo Sawgrass does not care! They have shown that over and over. I reviewed everything with my service contact, he apologized and I went off in my mini van. I picked it up and still the same thing they didnt fix anything. I think that they were just trying to see if I would get so frustrated that I would just go away. But, at this point I was more determined. That is when something else happened. I was on vacation and a Service Engine Throttle light came on. When I got back I took it to Arrigo Margate thinking that they would be better than Arrigo Sawgrass. They initially diagnosed it as a battery. That turned into a call where they told me that I needed to replace the whole engine wiring harness on the truck because I had Ideal Truck and Automotive put an AFE cold air intake on the truck. They also said that if I didnt replace the whole engine wiring harness and return the truck to factory air box that RAM would void my warranty. Went with my only option, replace the wiring harness. Took them over 3 weeks to replace the wiring harness. When I picked up the truck the same light came on before I even got home, embarrassing. By this time the truck is an absolute joke at work. Since I still needed Arrigo Sawgrass to fix the body issues I took it to them. Arrigo Sawgrass couldnt figure out what was wrong with the truck. They had the truck for 4 weeks and gave it back to me. The next morning the light was back on. This went on and on from end of August till the beginning of October. I would pick it up and the light would be on the next day, sometimes the same night. Arrigo Sawgrass and Arrigo Margate do not care how long it takes and how inconvenienced you are. The Arrigo Collision Center did some of the worst auto body work I have ever seen.

I made an appointment do to check engine light.got it diagnosed at autozone for a second opinion because I have been threw the hustle Arrigo has to offer.made appointment for 9:30.braught in the car with the error code printout stating it is my thermostat.around 3:30 received a text stating they are still diagnosing vehicle they will have to keep it another day!!!!I once again explained what the issue was.no response.next day 11:00 I received no information regarding car so I called in.my service advisor stated my thermostat is not covered but he generated a long list of small issues with my car taillight suspension ext.i explained I don't give a flying *** about those issues car was braught in a day prior for check engine light and nothing has been done.once again they say they will get back to me they are sending in estimates to my warrenty provider.wtf!!!!!!I didn't ask for that!!!!!dirty slick assholes.takes 30 minutes to change a thermostat and here I am lost 2 days worth of work left hi and dry.i took the car back never want to experience that again. to my service provider dane thx and go *** yourself

Mechanics

Mechanics using customer's as well as company vehicles for their personal use while under the influence. Vehicles seen parked in front of several well know bars in the area. Not only drinking and driving but {{Redacted}} in the said vehicles. Trying to contact Pete Martino to file a complain is worse than trying to get into Fort Knox. Several messages and no call back. Someone told me that my car was seen at a Bru's room on commercial . I was not there. Found out it was the mechanic that worked on my car ,said he had to test drive my car. My friend told me he saw said mechanic getting into my car with a female and they {{Redacted}} in my car.

Bad Service

I wrote this to the Service Director Mr. Pete Martino I have a modified Dodge Grand Caravan 2005, because it has a ramp to enter with my wheelchair. I Went to Arrigo Sawgrass to fix a problem I had with the door locks of my van. They came to the conclusion that the body control module was bad and they would have to replace it. The van spend all day in the workshop, I got a call from Bob Greenberg. He asked if the van had been modified and I answer Yes, but that company does not touch what refers to door locks. He told me that it was OK and that they would work in the car. That was all that he told me. Check your recordings. At the end of the evening he call me to pick up the van, they couldn't fix anything and Bob Greenberg said that I had to pay for the work that they did. Arriving at the office of Bob Greenberg I said that I would carry my van, and he said that for that, I would have to pay two hours of labor, they never fix the problem, How I'm going to pay for something that was not fixed, Bob Greenberg said that when he call me by phone He told me that changing the BCM would not resolve the problem and that I told him to just do it. Bob Greenberg never told me that by phone or in person, instead he gave me the assurance that changing the BCM all would be well. I did not want to discuss because talking with Bob Greenberg is like talking to a wall, in addition to make up that I told him "that if the work repair would not fix the problem, I want it anyways", I said that he didn't tell me that and He replied that he told me that by phone (NOT TRUE), I was with my wife and prefer not to discuss with him. I have had previous problems to repair my car in Arrigo Sawgrass, I thought it was a serious company and ensured his work, but I was wrong. I have been his client for more than 5 years and you can be sure that I will never go to Arrigo Sawgrass again, they just lose a good client like my wife who has a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2012, and myself with a Dodge grand caravan 2005. These are 2 cars that in the near future will need service, but because of their ineptitude to do the job we won't come to Arrigo Sawgrass not even to do an oil change. I Paid $445.20 for the BCM malfunctioning and charged me $251.29 for labor that didn't solve the problem. The only thing I ask is that they returned me the money that I paid for something that does not work. He answer me that He will talk to Bob Greenberg on June 14 but nothing has happened since that day, I wrote him 4 times and no answer.

This place Arrigo Sawgrass you should stay away from having any service perform there and or body shop repair ..... those people are completely incompetent ....

im dealing with them back and forth or about 6 month and im wasting my time ... buy somewhere else, dont waste your time and money there

Arrigo Dodge - Tamarac FL; Service Just a Complete Joke and Deceptive

Brought 2009 Ram 1500 in for (1) axle recall work, (2) oil change, and (3) needed TIPM checked/reset because Keyless Entry and Remote Start quit working....common and documented TIPM problems. In fact, many Dodge Ram and Chrysler models are recalled for TIPM issues as described. Was told TIPM cannot be reset (Falsehood) but they would happily upgrade the software package ($50). Was told my key had "tested bad" and had a "burnt chip" and did I want to buy a new key?($230). Oil change dash-board reminder NOT reset after oil change (I did it myself), so, how do I know anyone even touched the oil? Key in ignition to "On" and three pumps of gas pedal to reset oil change reminder, it's not rocket science folks. After picking up truck, put new 2032 battery in "burnt" key and vehicle fired right up...I already have a total of three(3) keys and they all work, dealership did not know that and must take me for a fool. Got a check engine light less than a week from service, called back and was told it was most likely something to do with the key, over the phone and without having checked the OBDII codes. Borrowed a scan tool and pulled a P0456 code for EVAP small leak; replaced gas cap, cleared code, and bingo...all fine. I will NEVER, EVER return to Arrigo Dodge Tamarac, or any other Arrigo franchise and will repeat my experience to all of my friends and/or contacts if the subject comes up!!!!!

ALL ARRIGO DEALERSHIPS IN FLORIDA HAVE BEEN PURCHASED BY MORGAN AUTO GROUP OUT OF TAMPA FLORIDA AND NOW THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS WORSE THAN EVER !!!!! MY 2018 PACIFICA DASH LIT UP LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE AND WOULDNT START THEY TOILD ME SORRY 2 WEEK WAIT TIME FOR AN APPOINTMENT ..THE MOPAR ELECTRONICS HASNT WORKD PROPERLY FROM 3 WEEKS OF PURCHASE THEY HAVE YET TO FIX IT 2 YEARS LATER AND REFUSE TO LEMON THE VAN., I AM DISABLED AND DESPERATLY NEED MY BACK UP CAMERAS AND NAVIGATION.. SYSTEM AFTER FINALLY SERVICING LAST WEEK I GET HOIME AND THE MOPAR SYSTEM BLCKED OUT FOR THE 7THY TIME AND NOW THERES A TICKING NOISE IN MY DASH I AM SOOOOO FRUSTRATED GETTING AN ATTORNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

There is more to that GAP insurance than you know.

The Gap Insurance being told is a combo appearance insurance that also covers dents and interior damage, I was not told this when I selected GAP insurance. When I re-financed my car I requested a refund on the GAP insurance, the refund check came in the mail from the INS company with itemizations line 1 - gap ins, line 2 cosmetic appearance insurance. This is Fraud. be careful buying at Arrigo Dodge sawgrass/pal beach beach/ft pierce. The GAP insurance was almost $1,400.00 dollars at arrigo, when I refinanced with my credit union it was only $400.00 for the less then 2000 than the original financed amount, I re-financed about 6 months later for a better rate.
