Customer Service Sucks

AI Highlights
  • - Two customer service reps exist, and the older is annoyed while the younger found a bolt not listed on site.

I've called customer service a few times to get an idea of what I need before purchase because there are bolt options not shown in their catalog as everything seems to be based on car model. Their model list is short so I call with bolt dimensions.

I've found that who you talk to makes a difference in what you are sold. Seems to be two gentlemen working in customer service. The older guy always answers the phone as if he's annoyed and can't be bothered with helping you find individual bolts. The younger fellow spent 30 minutes listening to me explain what I wanted and sold me a bolt that isn't listed anywhere on the site but a perfect match for my application.

Directly from their location.

Problem is the older guy seems to always answer the phone. If ARP sold to the public more I'm sure there would be more complaints about this guy and changes would be made.

Preferred solution: Better customer service

AI Highlights
  • - ARP head bolts arrived missing a washer.
  • - Replacement not sent; bolts are expensive.
  • - It costs $1500 extra and delays my project.

I bought Head bolts from ARP, and they were short a washer for one of the bolts. It seems impossible to get them to send a replacement.

You would think for what they charge for bolts someone at ARP could count. It is costing me an extra 1500.00 for their mistake.

Not being able to get my project done on time. Talk about a company head become too large.

Loss:
$1500

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered

User's recommendation: Don't buy ARP
