Install question
- - Screens are hard to install.
- - Threads won't go in easily; anchors pull out.
- - Need Andersen window installer; different hardware; disappointed.
U were most helpful with my question!
But unfortunately, I have found the screens nearly impossible for me to install. The threads do not go in easily on the screw.
The anchors are pulling out of the wall so I guess I need to call the people who installed them, which was an Andersen window. I wont even attempt to install them again until theres different hardware put on very disappointed.
User's recommendation: Don’t use the hardware that I’ve been given to install these the female anchor, inserted end of the wall which you screw into and it’s incredibly difficult

Verified Reviewer |Armor Screen
- - The company does not do screening and only offers hurricane shutters.
- - The reviewer says the company misrepresents itself and is fraudulent.
This company misrepresents itself to consumers. Thank God I did not hire them to perform any services.
What losers! I called them to get a quote on replacing my screening at my patio. They said that they do not do screens but hurricane shutters, etc. May I kindly ask why they are called Armor Screen?
They are frauds! To anyone out there, don't go there. If my difficulty of just trying to get a quote from them is an indicator of the company it is amazing that they are still in business .
They weren't rude, just exceptionally unhelpful. After turning my business away they wouldn't even give me the name of someone who does screening.
Extremely disappointed
- - Company acts professional but feels amateur.
- - I left many messages; they ignored my calls.
- - Ron Poe came once and never followed up.
This company operates as a professional company yet they behave like amateurs. I have contacted them on several occasions, leaving endless messages and they Continue to ignore all my calls.
How can you call yourself a successful business. Especially Ron Poe who has been the most disappointing.
He came out once and never followed up any of my calls or emails. I wanted to do business with them but now that will never happen.
Armor screen sucks
- - Sold me $15 per sq ft trampoline hurricane protection.
- - Hoops are cheap seat belts sewn in.
- - Sun ruined it after 2 years; no warranty.
This company sold me 0.20/ square foot trampoline fabric hurricane protection system for $15.00 a sq ft! with cheap seat belts sewn in as hoops to hold it and now after 2 years the sun has ruined it.
armor screen sucks and they didn't warranty the work. This system I come to find out has failed many times all over the place yet they claim its the strongest product in the world.
Florida *** artists never cease to amaze me. I was going to file a lawsuit against them but I discover their own attorneys (squire sanders) are suing them for $1.2 million over unpaid legal bills so didn't think I could collect.
