Misleading and dishonest practices at Arlington Toyota - IL
In November 2011 I bought a brand new 2011 Toyota Corolla from them. Right now the car is less than 5000 miles, which means that I drive even less than the avarage. The car is magnetic gray. The car is now only 4-5 months old and I have paint issues - sand/dust trapped in the paint, white spots showing in the paint. When you attempt to wipe the car after washing it some of the dust/sand comes off and the primer is showing beneath it. The paint scrathes very easily, even from the wind. In the words of Jeff Tybon - the manager of their collision center dust/sand spots are just minor imperfections, which every new car has. I may look *** in their eyes but I do not think every new car has such defects after the first 4-5 monts.
I have taken the car to another place where they even asked me if the car had not been repainted before.
I contacted Toyota Corporate and was told they will send a field representative to have a look at the car but at the same dealership because I bought the car from them.
I suspect that these are the tricks of the dealership to delay the repairs under the warranty until the car goes out of warranty, especially when it will look normal for each car to have such problems, which they wil explain as a normal wear and tear.

They are the worst. I bought a Camry from them and the sales and service are the worst I have ever known. Cannot recommend.
This stealership is full of crooks. It’s best to avoid at all costs.
