Arden Park Dental Care

Arden Park Dental Care in Sacramento, CA was the dentist I was referred to by 1-800-dentist. They appeared to not have the latest equipment and they were not very good overall.

I showed up and was assigned to the brand new untrained tech to do my x-rays. She attempted to fit a large plastic contraption in my mouth which held the x-rays. This thing bit into my mouth and cut it up numerous times throughout this process. I told her and she just kind of adjusted it but really just kept powering through the x-rays.

I finally just said we're done. At this point she got the handheld single x-ray thing that I'm pretty used to from all previous x-rays from other dentists and we finished up. So I asked her why she didn't just use that in the first place and spare me the pain and suffering? I think she thought I was kidding.

She didn't really answer. Anyway after this debacle, she does the blood pressure and OMG! wow did she not know what she was doing yet again. She pumps this thing or maybe it was automatic to where it squeezed me so painfully tight I had to tell her to get it off me.

Then the dentist comes in and asks how I'm doing. I'm not doing well. I'm upset. I actually started crying which would be embarrassing if I got embarrassed.

I told her I don't think it's working out but she talks me down off the ledge and we do the actual exam. I schedule the cleaning in the future. Then I get a call from the office saying I haven't scheduled the cleaning. I said I did at the time of the visit.

They said nothing is scheduled. Oh by the way, they further say I have a filling but the dentist said I didn't need any fillings. So that was weird. By this time, I'm done with Arden Park Dental.

They are so unbelievably messed up that I can't trust them with my dental health - - and 1-800-Dentist needs to know this so they don't refer anyone else to them for this treatment. I am writing this review today because I just received a text reminding me of my upcoming clean ing -- the one I did schedule when I was in the office. Really?! What is going on here?

Please don't refer anyone else to Arden Park Dental. They are awful.
