Troubleshooting

I have a Arctic King 12,000 BTU. Portable air conditioner.

I purchased it with the machine itself. I am needing to know what all I need to hook it up in a windowless room through that floor.

Where is my order it has been 21 days ago

No response to emails to customer service and called four times to customer service on hold 30 minutes each time and then cut off without talking to anyone very poor way to conduct business.

I ordered the Arctic Air Evaporative Air Cooler on May 21st 2018.

I opted to receive the advertised "Double Offer" special. I also chose their 2 payment plan which should have been $39.98 and $19.99 which includes free shipping.

I was charged $40.98 on 5/21 and $19.99 on 6/18. I did not receive the product nor did I receive any communication from Arctic Air. The phone number listed (844 260-****) is incorrect. I was finally able to contact Arctic Air on July 24th.

The customer service representative informed me that some how Fed Ex never picked up the product from their warehouse.

She offered me a $10.00 credit and assured me that my order would be placed in a priority status and I should receive the product in about a week. I made it clear to her that I felt like this is not a legitimate company and this was a scam. It is now August 2nd and still have not received the product I purchased. I called Arctic Air again and I was told that the product is now on back order and the it is unknown as to when they will be sending me the product.

I was also told that I will not be charged until the product is shipped. I informed the representative that they have already charged me twice for this product and nothing has been shipped. I asked again it this is a legitimate company. I also asked to speak to a supervisor several times, however she refused to let me speak to a supervisor so I hung up.

I truly believe that this is nothing more than a scam. If I did not find their number they would have kept my money. Now I am finding out that I was not supposed to be charged until the product was shipped. There was no communication from this company (not even a receipt) from the date of purchase which was May 21st.

until I contacted them on July 24th. It all sounds very suspicious to me.

It is just a swamp cooler; VERY heavily advertised on TV. Just ads more humidity to the air and does NOT COOL ANYTHING AT ALL.

The TV video shows the temperature of a blow torch on the intake being reduced from over 90 degrees F to around 80 degrees after passing through the Arctic Air Device. To return it the USPS charges $32. WASTE OF MONEY! DO NOT BUY IT.

I received a $20 credit from the company but I just threw the box in a dumpster.

The company was willing to give me a total refund but I would have had to have returned it to their Las Vegas office. Waste of money unless you live in the desert.

do not do business with Arctic Air Heating and Cooling. they are overpriced and their business ethics are horrible.

they came to my house this summer to fix my air conditioner. they claim that their policy is to have the customer sign the form prior to any repair. that is false. when the guy came to my house, he did not consult me first, claimed to have put some little part in it and charged me $400.

he was pleased to announce that at least "it was not $700". he badgered me into signing the form after the work was done. he stood between me and my front door. imagine that in my own home.

When I tried to speak with the owner, he immediately became defensive and started yelling and threatening court action. I suspected that he had had this discussion before. he would not even listen to what I was saying.

he got paid I guess that is all that matters. How is it that this business is still going.

Consumers BEWARE of the Criminals at Artic Air

Artic Air Heating and Cooling Company serviced our furnace on the coldest day of the year. They did not perform a true diagnosis, and simply started replacing parts not broken.

They started small ($200 item) and after we bought that, they tried to increase it to a $600 item. They would not leave the used parts. We called another company, who fixed it with the $200 item, which was included under warranty afterall (no charge for the part). They also refused to address our complaint.

The company is located in Gladstone, MO.

The owner does not listen to the consumer. The company hires criminal employees who try to steal from the consumer by replacing parts that aren't broken so they can be paid a commission.

It's nothing but a fan,it doesn't blow cold air ,it just blows air oh ,did I say that the air gets hot in about two or three minutes,it wasn't worth $65.46. So Please ,just send me my money back. Sandra Smith

I agree with you! my heat recently went out on one of the hottest days this summer.
