Extreme poor customer service

Had trouble with HSA card online, called and was told "sorry, credit card must be down, dunno what to tell you." A month later I get a notice that my $154 bill has been sent to debt collection agency. Luckily, debt collection agency accepted the credit card and situation over with, but had to pay a fee. Could have been handled way better.

Preferred solution
Stop screwing working people that pay their medical bills. Credit card use was blocked on your end for whatever reason, not I just didn't pay. Please do not contact, i don't care about the $5 fee, it's the lack of people care that bothers me.
