I paid $5000 for loan origination processing and $52,000 to reduce my interest rate and pay down the prepayment penalty. The loan didn't close due the lender/investor misunderstood the occupancy status of the property and required me to obtain a bridge loan.

I requested a refund of the monies submitted as the loan was not going to close. Broker, J. Keith Walker said there were no refunds because the payment was for his services.

At no time did he advise us of this situation and he has continued to deny my refund request. BEWARE
