Great Prices!! But nothing ever shows up!

I placed my order 34 days back. After multiple attempts to contact them I canceled my order with PayPal. They called within an hour. So nice to me, "of course I understand, I want to help....". BS!! A week passes and same issue happens and no delivery. I asked to cancel and get transferred again and again and again. Hours of time on the phone between them and the trucking company. Lesson learned. Tried to cancel the order, almost $4,000 they finally said yes but still nothing. Opened a case with Paypal again so they can credit me. BUYER BEWARE.....

I say run to Lowe's or Home Depot for your appliances! NOT Appliances Connection!! Where do I start! 1. When I placed the order in early Nov. 2018 they typed in my zip code incorrectly for my credit card. When I got an email to contact them, I did so immediately. They said they changed it and told me that all was well and my appliances would ship the next week. 2. Several weeks went by and no appliances. Next thing I know, I get an email that stated "Order Cancelled." I called and they said I had to wire the $ because of the zip code issue and that it was for "security reasons" because of potential fraud! Note that they caused this....I had nothing to do with it and yet they took it out on me. I should have turned away at that moment and cancelled the order but I didn't. I wired the $. 3. Several more weeks went by and finally the appliances were delivered...except one was missing and they couldn't find it and didn't know where it was. I won't go into the mess that was created with the delivery...it took 2 days and not worth it to try to explain it...just assume NIGHTMARE! 4. They finally admitted the missing item had been damaged and they couldn't replace it and get it to me by the time it was needed so they said they would refund. This opened a whole new can of worms! One of the geniuses early in this process decided they would change my order from 1 invoice to 2 invoices because 3 of the products were the same brand and 1 was different which created its own set of issues. Ultimately by doing that they issued 3 different refunds. The first one was paid out in a timely manner thru pay pal. the other 2 took me 6 weeks to squeeze out of them because they had no idea what they were doing. They kept telling me these 2 amounts were wired back to my acct. That makes sense?...exactly how did they have the wiring and bank instructions without asking me for them? They didn't so you know they were not telling me the truth. After several calls explaining that to them, they dropped that idea and told me they would return it thru Paypal. That took 5 weeks of 2 to 3 calls a week to finally get my money back mid February, 2019, 3 1/2 months later. Toward the end of the process, when I would call, they would just tell me that they had to research the issue and they would call me back in an hour...that happened twice...of course, I never received a call back. Bottom line....FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO BUY YOUR APPLIANCES! I no longer need help because I finally got it done but want others to know they can avoid the pain by going elsewhere.

Well done.Thanks. Almost bought from them but decided to do some reviews first.

I started with to "financing" bank they use and my was that bad. No thanks. Then I read about AC's terrible customer service and this review pretty sums up what I have found from across the net. It's not worth the risk to save a few $"s.

Will be using the big box stores near me.

My husband and I are retiring and having a house built in SC. I ordered all my appliances from them.

So far the refrigerator arrived damaged and had to be repaired SEVERAL TIMES. The drawers and handles were replace and the defrosting system replaced AND STILL THE HANDLES KEEP FALLING OFF THE REFRIGERATOR. They are coming again this friday to repair AGAIN
12/7/18. To boot the microwave just died out and is not heating anything.

These are all LG products. DO NOT BUY LG PRODUCTS. Between my builder and his workers and myself we have at least 5 or more service calls. Unfortunately, this may end up in court.

I'm looking into the "Lemon Law" and will press charges. I had asked them to at least increase my warranty and they won't even do that. IF I CAN GIVE THEM MINUS STARS, I WOULD. Both Appliances Connection and LG.

I have two BBB complaints one for the refrigerator and one for the microwave. You can read about them yourselves. #1318**** for the refrigerator and #1318**** for the microwave. Now they are saying they will not refund for the trim kit for the microwave even though it's mandatory to buy when putting the microwave in a wall.

PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE - APPLIANCES CONNECTION (Victor Ext. 2034) AND LG.

Horrible Experience

Ordered a grill April 4. After several promises as to when it would ship i finally heard from them again May 30 regarding shipment. They said the unit shipped and to wait a day for tracking number to show up. I waited and checked AM Trucking for tracking info. No shipping info. I called AMT and was told they had no trailer to ship the unit.So, it had NOT shipped-lied to again. When i asked when it would actually ship the guy said maybe next week. Huh? So, back to Appliances Connection and i was basically told the unit was shipped-another lie. I then decided to cancel and was told the order could not be cancelled nor returned and that i had accepted a delivery date of May 16 when i placed the order. I brought up the purchase invoice and there was nothing about a delivery date and there was a schedule of charges should i choose to return the item if i did receive it. So the CS person has no clue what the purchase order said. At that point it was obvious i was being scammed. I sent another email stated my demand the order be cancelled and that i had already contacted my credit card company and they had issued a temporary refund (until resolution) and that i would gather up all the correspondence and provide it to the CC company. The CS person then got snippy and basically said he would do the same.My next step was to notify the trucking company the order had been cancelled. I got a snippy response that said i needed to contact the seller. So, i had to explain to them that i had already contacted the seller and cancelled the order and that my email to them was to make sure they did not ship the unit out at some point because i would not accept delivery. I also asked if they had been contacted by the seller, Appliances Connection--Crickets, no response.How can people like this even be in business?

Terrible customer service and support

Five years ago I purchased a refrigerator from Appliance Connection without issue. Logically I thought ordering furniture from them would provide a similar experience. WRONG!!! Never buy anything except appliances from AC. Their process for handling other orders is horrendous and Customer Service is terrible when addressing damaged items. Here is the story. My order was for a complete bedroom set which I knew was not in stock at their warehouse, but were supposed to be readily available. What I didn’t understand is the fact that another supplier must first ship the items to AC before sending to me. It took forever. Finally, I called and found out they were waiting for one nightstand while holding up the rest of the set. After some discussion, they agreed to ship what had arrived and send the final item separately. That is when the nightmare began. While their shipper did fine with delivery once sent out, the main shipment arrived with several pieces scratched. Customer Service’s remedy was to order a “Repair Kit” which I agreed to rather than shipping everything back. I found out later, the Kit did not come from the manufacturer as expected, but was a generic kit ordered off of Amazon. WTF! Then, the separate nightstand arrived, over a month late. It had been shipped via Fedex (their idea, not mine) and the front top corner of the nightstand was damaged. AC blamed it on Fedex and submitted a claim. After waiting another two weeks, I was informed the situation could only be resolved by shipping the damaged unit back and then a new unit would be ordered, taking another three weeks (more likely a month or more). At that point I was fed up and didn't want to deal with them any longer so agreed to a credit on the damaged nightstand. Do not do business which these folks except for appliances!!!!!

Rediculously Slow Shipping

I ordered our couch on February 20th, today is April 8th and still no tracking information and the "ship date" keeps getting pushed further out every time I inquire about it. I still have not received my item.

My sectional was delivered but not to door as promised and came broken in several different areas. The cushions on on oart of the sectional don't even match the rest of the couch.

Company is saying it's my fault for not unwrapping it while being delivered and inspecting it. They are refusing to give me a new one, unless I pay $400+ to ship it back.

Do yourself a favor and order from a furniture store. These people are rude and scammers....

I bought a bedroom set on September 20th that was promised to be delivered in 7 days, but for my frustration it was delivered on October 30. The problem was that everything arrived totally destoyed/damaged/wet!!! They really don’t care about and they don’t do nothing to hold their responsability!! They are awful, they have a bible as complains into the Social Media channels and so so so many bad reviews thru the internet!!! Don’t buy anything with Appliances Connection...for sure it will be the worse experience ever!!!

They are liers who are deceiving customers. I bought a refrigerator and the door was broken when it was delivered.

The customer service agreed that I would place a new order to replace the damaged one, and then they would pick up the initial refrigerator when they deliver the new one without any charge. So, I bought a new refrigerator and gave them the new order number . But in the end they Charged me more than $600 pick-up fee and said that I can not exchange to a different model of refrigerator.

If the original refrigerator didn't have a damaged door, why would l have to exchange it?They never told me that I couldn't exchange with the different model in the email from the beginning to the end. I'm really angry, they're very untrustworthy.Do not take a risk to save a small discount with a big loss at the end!

Scammers!

Appliances Connection will not exchange your item for free, if the item was damaged during transit!!! They charge you $0.75 PER POUND for an exchange and $1.50 PER POUND to return the item.

Trust me, I used to work for these crooks and a majority of calls throughout the day were customers complaining about receiving their items damaged. You will spend your hard earned money to buy items that you should receive damage free, but they will bribe you with either a percentage back or their 10 year parts & components warranty. For example, if you order a stove/refrigerator and the door comes damaged, they will send a tech out to fix the broken door, which means you'd have to wait for service. If the sides are dented they will tell you it's only cosmetic and no one will see the stove/refrigerator in between your cabinets.

Also, they will have items IN STOCK on their website, yet the item will be on back order for months. A majority of their staff's first language isn't English, so when you call customer service, chances are you'll barely understand them and that will be noticeable when you communicate with them via email, the sentence structure is HORRENDOUS. The floor Manager, Calvin is obnoxious and will pretend to care about your story, but will put you on mute and mock you with other people in the office. And they own the shipping company YF Logistics, they act as if it's two separate companies.

If you're located outside of New York/New Jersey, it takes 7-14 business days for them to ship the item AFTER they receive it, so if the item is on back order it could take months for delivery. You will even receive tracking information and the item will still be in the warehouse

They delivered my refrigerator - it was scratched when received and the delivery people put several big gouges in my driveway when leaving. There is no one to speak to in regard to this problem and they wanted more and more documents from me.

To date I have given them several photos and an estimate for the damage they had done. The driveway was brand new and they said it was not their fault since they hired a company to deliver the product.

I am very dissatisfied with their customer service which seems to be non-existent. There is never a person to speak to and they only correspond by email.

Awful ! I spent 5 days telling them there was a problem with my order and tired of those standard answer wait 24-48 hrs. to be updated. Day 6 they realized there was a mistake. And they didn't even try to fix it... they just want to push it for the following week. No Way! Cancel the order... but of course... you have to wait 5 business day to get your money back!!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY!!!

"Day 6 they realized there was a mistake." What the *** doesn't sound like a company I want to do business with. All of the reviews on here have lead me to believe, I need to say far away from this company no matter how good the deal looks. Thanks for helping those us who have not tried this poorly run company.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Nothing but problems with two orders placed with them. First was a headboard that was ordered, with and expected delivery date on 15 days, but after several updates and extensions to that date, it was changed to 2 months+. Getting them to cancel the order was not fun either, with them claiming that it may be already being built by manufacturer and that unless there was a viable reason, there would be no refund. Thankfully they are so far out on their dates that I was able to get them to refund my credit card several weeks later. Second item was the order of the nightstands to match the headboard. They kept claiming it was already in process and could not be refunded. Of course another month later and I was still awaiting the delivery. After it finally came, the delivery company, separate company from them, said they would stick around and either unpack the items for us or wait til we did. Since the packing boxes looked good, I didn't understand, but they said they should to document any damage. Boy were they right!!! Apparently the people to pack the products for shipping at Appliances Connection throw the furniture around the warehouse. Lots of damage! I was so tired at this time and knew with my woodworking background I could repair the edge damage, replace missing screws, and match the stain, so I kept them and put in for a discount. After talking with them, they offered a whole $30 discount and the supplies to repair the furniture. Big woop...But like I said, at this time I just wanted to be done with them. So they sent a can of furniture patch (NOT color matched), NONE of the screws, and, get this WHITE PAINT!!! This is a Honey/Carmel Oak nightstand...Really white paint. Contacted them again and guess what, they said they woud send the correct PAINT...ugh!!! Corrected again and they said they would send the correct "stuff" and 3 weeks later still waiting!

placed an order for a 4 pc appliance in black stainless. sent 3 one ended up on back order sent it but was regular stainless not black stainless like I ordered. Would not take it back and give me the one I ordered because I didn't have the box. I didn't have the box because I paid 69.00 for white glove delivery. they suck. refused to give me owners name or give me a higher supervisor. originally said my entire order was in stock then said would take 4 weeks to deliver so I asked for a similar product and they sent stainless steel so now i have 3 black stainless appliances and 1 regular stainless and they couldn't give a flying ----

Ordered several appliances in Nov with a Dec 7-10th delivery date. Called on Dec 18th and was told they wouldn't be delivered until after Christmas. No date. Just told we would be called the day prior to notify us. Appliance Connections said they would reach out to the delivery company to try and expedite. That was 2 days ago with zero follow up.

Three months and still haven’t received my purchase

Ordered a sectional on September 3rd, still haven’t received it. Dozens of emails to support and the date continues to be pushed back. Every time the excuse is different and they said it impacts all authorized resellers but other stores have the same item listed with next day shipping offers. I will never use them again and based on the rest of these complains nobody else should either.
