Rude technician and poor service
- Display board replaced; error persists.
- Extra $250 charged to diagnose the code.
- He insulted the customer and claimed cockroaches damaged the board.
I hired Appliance Care to come and repair my dishwasher. The technician came out and diagnosed that my display control board required replacing.
So, I gave him a down payment to order the part. He came back the next week and replaced the control board. The dishwasher started working. However, there was still an error code being displayed on the dishwasher.
The technician said that I would have to pay another $250 in order for him to diagnose and repair the error code. I asked why? He said that this is a separate issue. I told him whatever power surge happened at my home, it was all related to the same problem.
He argued with me. He finally asked if the dishwasher was working. I said partially since there is still an error code. He called me a liar.
So, I asked him to leave. The technician even said that my control board was damaged by cockroaches. What cockroach has teeth that could damage a control board???
Just bad manners and rude behavior.
Don't use this company. Bad service and poor attitude by the technician and the owner.
