Customer service pricing
A movement consultant came to view the location, I was given a price, I get only am estimate. I was quoted a 3 hr price, since no boxes' appliances, with exception of a washer &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; dryer.
The move took 5.75 hrs @ an additional cost to me of just under $400.00 over what I was quoted. I called & spoke to the consultant, told I would get a return call, one week later,I called again. On my 2nd call, asking for the consultant, I was transfered to a different person. After speaking & he located property on a map web site, I was told that he would drive by the location & contact me the next day.
This did not happen !!
I am positive that I have never written a bad review. but almost $400.00 more &;amp; no resbeponse,I had tbeo do this.

Apollo Moving and Storage - Long Distance Moving Service Review from San Diego, California
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! Two days ago, My bf hired them to move my things from a storage unit in Irvine down to San Diego.
The two guys that were doing the driving/moving were Armando and Isaac. I am now missing a box of jewelry (expensive jewelry that i inherited from my mother) and a number of name brand purses (louis vuitton, michael kors, coach, etc.) I had other purses in the bin, but it looks like they only took the ones that had a popular/expensive brand name to it. My boxes/bins were labeled, so it looks like they knew what to take. I am filing a police report and will do whatever it takes to get my property back and make sure legal action is taken against this company.
I have moved a few times before this and have never had my things stolen or missing. I am still sorting through all the bins and making note of everything that is gone.
Apollo movers will not get away with this.
Again, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
Apollo Moving And Storage Staff Review from Mountain View, California
This company is a criminal enterprise. They give you a quote that's not to exceed and the salesperson tells you over and over again that as long as your items do not exceed what is on the quote they will honor the quote.
Not true. When the driver showed up without even looking at what I had they already had a contract filled out with $1,700 additional space required on their truck they tried to get me to sign this saying that I was over I had more than I said originally. Now the driver said this without ever even stepping into the house and seeing what I had. I contacted Apollo and congratulated them for having hired psyche drivers.
Drivers that knew what you had a new that you were over without ever even looking at your items. If you read the reviews online for Apollo this is a very common occurrence.
This is a business practice that there's not an accident not a mistake not a one time thing. They are in the business of scamming people when they're at their most vulnerable.

We are in the process of moving using Apollo. So far it has been a NIGHTMARE of an experience!
There sales pitch is great but once you commit - it is truely a stressful, pull your hair out, cry all day & night nitemare! DO NOT USE THEM!
One of the most horrible experiences of my life. Do not use Appolo Relocation Services!
I planned every detail of my move and it turned into a nightmare. Just like all the other reviews reported, Apollo lied every step of the way. When they
got their money they were completely done with me. I ended up with a very rude mover who sent a truck too small and had to store half my stuff
in a warehouse. They over charged me on all packing materials like $14 to $18 for regular dish pack boxes. They broke lots of things and damaged
property coming in the drive. The complex HOA charged $240 for repairs
and no one would take responsibility. The truck was seen running all over
the yard and even produced pics. Things got so bad and I got tired of the constant bullying, I fired them. Had to then rent a U haul in Fla. and hired my own crew to finish getting my things to Ga. I am a 71 year old widow on a fixed income and this has almost done me in. Total cost over original bid was approximately $5000 . Please don't use these people and I really
don't trust those rave reviews.
Lack of Trust
Fred Cook (owner) rude and unprofessional. Paid on (5) storage units for almost (2) years, no more than (4) were delivered to our final move.
We are missing, clothes, sentimental items such as china, gardening equipment, and household items, etc. Items like these shouldn't just disappear. DO NOT USE THIS MOVER! We also sustained a considerable amount of breakage.
Paid this company above and beyond for moving and storage, and we either encountered a break-in due to poor security, or they may have sold some of our personal items for their own gain. Again, don't trust these folks with any of your personal belongings whatsoever!
Nightmare move
Are experience with Apollo moving was a nightmare. The owner Fred cook is a smooth talking *** man.
He over charges and his movers are from what I suspect illegal. Plus on top rude. One his mover named Miles was extremely rude and careless. I would not suggest ever using this guys.
I had two pieces broken and numerous pieces scratch and when asking movers to take better care of my stuff response was I know what I'm doing. By what I saw they sure know how to damage things. After contacting this hustler his respond was that I would receive a claim form. Which I never did.
The mover Miles damage stuff I couldn't replace and when asking him if he could take better care of it. Was rude and snappy. Not to mention the damage done to walks carpet and banister. So careless.
Moved washer with bleach in bottom totally ruining my brand new carpet.
Since that I moved again saw a real company with real trucks do a professional job. Like I said think there all illegal from home depot
Apollo Moving & Storage in Santa Ana - Horrible!
Our moving and storage experience with Apollo Moving and Storage in Santa, CA was absolutely horrible.
Apollo Moving and Storage of 1525 E. McFadden, Santa Ana, California 92705, (714) 547-****. They also use phone numbers (714) 982-**** and (949) 837-****. They also use the address 1381 Miller St., Anaheim, CA 92806.
We would not wish this company on our worst enemies. The entire move went wrong in so many ways. Ultimately, it all came down to what they promised and what they failed miserably to deliver. The owner is a smooth talking guy that will tell you anything you want to hear to secure the job. He promised a careful move. He promised that his guys would take good careful care of our belongings. He promised that fragile and high-value items would be carefully packed. In addition, he also promised that we could store our things longer than our initial commitment of 30days as long as we paid for the additional time.
We were doing major construction at our home so we hired Apollo Moving and Storage in Santa Ana, CA to pack and move our belongings to their storage for 30 days and to bring it back when the construction was completed.
Here are the areas that went horribly wrong with Apollo Moving and Storage in Santa Ana, CA.
1) PACKING: We paid for them to professionally pack our things. When they showed up to pack, they did a horrible job. Almost every box was marked incorrectly so it was a nightmare to unpack when they brought the boxes back. We had many items that outright broke from their so-called professional packing. When they were about 75% done with packing, they told us that they had no more boxes. As a result, many items that were supposed to be packed were not including valuable glass pieces, artwork and other fragile items.
2) INITIAL MOVE: They showed up a hour later than when they were supposed to arrive. Once the move started, we were constantly communicating with them to be more careful. They dropped a cabinet right in front of us. Almost nothing was shrink wrapped including the items we were begging them to wrap. The movers just acted like they didn't speak English and pretty much ignored most of our requests. We even watched them tear up our sectional couch as they were forcing it out our sliding glass door. When they took things out to the truck, they thought nothing of just scrapping furniture pieces and such along the floor of the truck. Walls were damaged in our home and the carpet was trashed throughout the day.
3) STORAGE: Our initial commitment was for 30 days. When we learned that our construction would not be completed by then, we called them and told them we would need an extra month. When we got the original quote from the owner, I made it absolutely clear to him that we might need to extend the storage. He said no problem and that we just needed to pay for the extra month. To our complete surprise and dismay, they would not extend our storage. They said that they needed the storage truck for someone else. Our begging and pleading with them fell on deaf ears. The owner was completely belligerent and spoke to us in a way that was completely unacceptable. Basically, we had no carpet on the ground and the home was not ready. They told us they didn't care and they were just going to dump the stuff in our garage if need be. We gave them 12 days advanced notice and it was not enough. They put us in an absolutely horrible situation and they point blank did not care.
4) MOVE BACK: Pretty much the same story as the initial move out. They were late again. Only three guys showed up and it took them until 7pm at night to unload the stuff. I have never seen movers move so slowly in my entire life. Because we had no flooring and our construction was not completed, they had to set things in our garage and on concrete. We kept a list of things that came back damaged and it was a long list including severely scratched up furniture, broken vanity mirror and stand, fine porcelain decorative items, torn leather and fabric furnishings and etc. At the end, the movers were so lazy that they didn't want to unpack everything even though it was in the agreement. Out of frustration, we just asked them to unpack the kitchen and leave. When they were leaving, we provided in writing that there was a lot of damage and that we would need a claim form. They said they would get it to us.
5) FOLLOW-UP: I have contacted them three times about the damage. There is no response. I suspect they will not respond unless we file a complaint with the PUC or the BBB in California.
If you're thinking about using Apollo Moving and Storage in Santa Ana, California, we think you should think twice. Our experience was truly horrible and the owners did nothing during and afterwards to make it right. In our communications with them, it was clear that they didn't care a whole lot about customer service or even doing the right thing. Not allowing us to pay and extend our storage and to bring our stuff back to place our things in the garage and on un-floored concrete was not the right thing to do. And to ignore requests for a claim form regarding damage is just icing on the cake.
This is our moving nightmare story as it happened when we used Apollo Moving and Storage of 1525 E. McFadden, Santa Ana, California 92705, (714) 547-****. They also use phone numbers (714) 982-**** and (949) 837-****. They also use the address 1381 Miller St., Anaheim, CA 92806.
NEVER AGAIN!
